## About ARMO Platform
ARMO Platform is the only runtime-driven, open-source first, cloud security platform. It is the only security platform that continuously minimizes cloud attack surface based on runtime insights, while actively detecting and responding to cyberattacks with real risk context. Using an eBPF-based runtime sensor to record application behavior and related activities, ARMO Platform enables DevOps, security, and platform teams to eliminate the security noise and go from thousands of irrelevant alerts to focus on the most important and exploitable threats. This allows those teams to shift from managing hypothetical security issues to mitigating actual risks and providing them with the means to remediate them. ARMO is an open-source-driven company and the creator of Kubescape, a leading open-source Kubernetes security project, now an official CNCF project. ## ARMO Platform Reviews
  ### 1. Very good tool to secure your kubernetes cluster

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dylan P. | DevOps Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2025

**What do you like best about ARMO Platform?**

Armo is perfect for reading kubescape reports.
The two tools integrate very well, and the armo dashboard allows you to push the use and understanding of kubescape dashboard to the limit.

I also really like the ease with which the various scans (registry, repository, cluster) can be integrated.

The interface is very pretty and easy to understand. All useful information is displayed on the screen, and fixes for the various vulnerabilities are easy to copy and apply, which saves an enormous amount of time.

The various sorting functions are very practical.

I also like the fact that it's easy to accept the risks.

**What do you dislike about ARMO Platform?**

I don't like the idea of paying per node. In my case, I have a lot of small nodes with very different uses and resources. It's ideal for me to separate the different services of my project, but from a financial point of view (according to the vision of paying per node) it's very bad. However, I think it's good practice to have more nodes than one giant one.

**What problems is ARMO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Armo makes it possible to read kubescape in a very pleasant and collaborative way.

  ### 2. Our projects have never run so smoothly, thanks to ARMO Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ala M. | Cloud Security Architect, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about ARMO Platform?**

The automation features of ARMO Platform stand out as remarkable capabilities. The Platform performs its tasks by reducing hand labor which frees up at least one day of work during each week. The main benefit of the ARMO Platform lies in its capability to integrate with our existing tools. Automation capabilities founded in the ARMO Platform represent an outstanding feature through its capability to gather data from different sources then present it in one unified dashboard. This single feature allows our team to save three hours of reporting work each week.

**What do you dislike about ARMO Platform?**

Users need to spend time adapting to the robust features of the ARMO Platform due to its complex interface structure. I regularly search for specific settings or configurations within the ARMO Platform. A few integration issues between ARMO Platform and our current tools created minor system disruptions.

**What problems is ARMO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through ARMO Platform we have resolved our fundamental issue for managing security across our diverse multi-cloud environment. Security policies and visibility gaps proved to be constant issues that our organization dealt with before implementing ARMO Platform. Through ARMO we can finally observe our entire security environment from a single perspective. The platform improved our security but at the same time streamlined our compliance procedures. The network monitoring function provides round-the-clock security protection which functions similarly to having a private guard service for our network infrastructure.

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2024

**What do you like best about ARMO Platform?**

Armo is able to gather in a synthetic and nice-looking interface, a lot of data that I'm used to collect from so many different tools. Moreover, it aims to deliver ready-to-use and easy-to-understand actions. The visual approach, such as diagrams of attack paths, or diffing YAML manifests for showing us how to improve security by changing kubernetes resources, is a game changer !

**What do you dislike about ARMO Platform?**

While the installation and integration is pretty straightforward thanks to their Helm chart, the toolset that needs to be deployed on each cluster is pretty large, with many deployments, statefulsets and cronjobs.

  ### 8. Fast, on-point, actionable security advice for everything in your k8s clusters

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christian P. | Barista - Caterer - Entrepreneur, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 22, 2023

**What do you like best about ARMO Platform?**

ARMO does a great job fetching all known vulns in your k8s clusters and its workloads but then goes on to filter out all the non-relevant ones. Then, it makes those actionable thru Jira or Slack and it gives you all the context information for that particular vuln so as a DevSecOps engineer you can go right to work on its mitigation!

It's VERY easy to setup and implement, just a helm chart and you're good.

Integration with Slack, SSO and your code and container repositories is a snap and doing so will get the vulns a world of context for your specific situation.

Scans can be scheduled and run ad-hoc and this guarantees frequent use and fregular occurances for when things change.

Support through Slack has been very responsive so far and their engineers have always been able to resolve issues within a few hours or days at worst.

**What do you dislike about ARMO Platform?**

It's not yet always obvious where a vuln is coming from, i.e. what's the final actor that introduced it to make it releveant.

**What problems is ARMO Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While SAST and checkov/kubelint go a long way towards securing your k8s design, you don't always know what affect workloads will have in your k8s clusters and what containers bring that may weaken your posture and attack surface.

While we can do our best to secure and "shift left" as much as possible in the SDLC, ultimately you also need eyes on the runtime state in k8s. That's what ARMO kubescape provides. You can use a multitude of OSS tools (checkov, trivy, harbor, dependency track) but you'll have to create your own dashboards and reporting for them. ARMO does that with ease and speed, but... it also adds relevancy to the vulns found so do not have to filter through 1500+ false alarms or irrelevant vuln because the faulty component is not in your runtime.

ARMO results in concise, to-the-point, actionable vulns with as much contet information that it can provide to enable an engineer to resolve the issue as efficiently as possible.

Additionally, the Attack Path feature shows non-tech people or developers exactly why they need to monitor and update their components so the outdated dependencies they introduce do not lead to exploitable weaknesses at runtime in your k8s clusters.
