They have created a new measure called PROCESS FITNESS which is quite helpful as it shows how many activities in the ideal process match our As-Is Process. The user interface is quite simple, and as of now, the tool is pure play process mining and; hence there is less clutter inside the tool. The new updates have brought in the following functionalities :- 1. Insights trigger - It initiates/triggers automatic actions based on certain conditions we configured. 2. Easy integration with their Modelling tool. Now we can export the discovered model from Mining to Modelling tool. 3. Process Overlay - Overlay your KPIs on the process models developed in the ARIS Connect 4. View Mining dashboards next to your process models in ARIS Connect. **What do you dislike about ARIS?** The KPI calculation is done at the backend and is connected to the data model. Hence every time a new KPI is calculated we have to refresh the data model. They have easy import and export feature to use templates from other projects. **What do you dislike about ARIS?** The UI looks quite dates compared to peers such as MS.projects. They need to enhance the features and embedd.some AI to make suggestions while building process maps for next activity box or connectors **What problems is ARIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used.ARIS extensively for making eTom processes for multiple telco companies while doing design workshops for consulting assignments. The timely updates and support services being rendered is excellent and satisfactory. The BPM basics are covered thoroughly, plus the advanced features are easily scalable. **What do you dislike about ARIS?** One has to pay for being able to utilise the latest updates/ objects in the tool for example. This makes it difficult to utilise . Other problems with the tool are with the report generation, depending upon the level of the flow, identification of bottlenecks and suggestions based on the problem areas identified using process mining capability. **What problems is ARIS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps to chart down the As-Is Process and helps to get a better view and understanding to be able to recommend a future state process of business. It also eases the fit-gap analysis to be carried out. A well-designed process flow in Aris can facilitate a better understanding across the discussions with multiple stakeholders. ### 39. Pricing is little on the higher side.
