The best part of the tool is the ease of implementation. It is very easy to use by the business user as well. We have received proactive support from customer service team. Feature wise, ARIS can be integrated with the various source systems and data can be transformed as per requirement. ARIS Process Mining is a good process mining software but the real differentiator for it, is the integration to the ARIS Process Modelling. Being able to map actual processes quickly against to-be states is exceptional and clearly shows the deviations. It is also improving rapidly with new builds bring major changes that work really well. It also quick to go from a dataset to the model, showcasing the ease of implementation & ease of use. The best thing I found in Software AG ARIS is the simplicity of the tool and the large number of features provided for business process modeling. The ease to integrate it with other application soft wares such as the SAP has been the biggest advantage. The customer support has also been very great making the implementation process to be easy. With the help of ARIS, one can map and redesign the activities and it was a great benefit for us as it had increased the our effectiveness and minuses the mistakes in our procedures. Some of the outstanding capabilities within the software might attract a very high price tag, which may not be easy on the finances. This has at times drawn funds away from other more important projects on the organization. Moreover, due to frequent updates, there may be issues of compatibility and this results in even system breakdowns and later the need to troubleshooting. Software AG ARIS is the key tool that can be used in order to control business processes and direct the work of an enterprise architecture. What I like most about Software AG ARIS is that I can connect different process flows to each other. What I dislike about Software AG ARIS is that the resorces on learning how to use ARIS are very limited. I have spent a lot of time creating my own user guides to lessing the learning gap to teach others than spending that time acctually working in ARIS itself.
