What do you like best about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?
**What Makes ARI Outstanding:**
1. **All-in-One Hub:** ARI truly consolidates everything. Job scheduling, parts inventory tracking, technician assignments, customer communication, detailed invoicing, and insightful reporting – it's all seamlessly integrated. No more juggling multiple systems or spreadsheets.
2. **Intuitive & User-Friendly:** Despite its power, the interface is clean and logical. Our team, picked it up quickly. The learning curve was minimal compared to other solutions we trialed.
3. **Inventory Management Superstar:** Real-time parts tracking has been a game-changer. Seeing stock levels update instantly, setting reorder points, and managing suppliers directly within ARI has drastically reduced costly errors and delays. The integration with parts vendors is smooth. Especially with the integration with partstech.com
4. **Robust Reporting & Visibility:** The reporting engine is powerful. We can easily track shop performance metrics (KPIs), technician productivity, job profitability, and customer trends. This data is crucial for making informed business decisions.
5. **Customer Management & Communication:** Keeping customer histories, vehicle records, and service notes organized is effortless. The integrated communication tools (estimates, approvals, status updates) help keep customers informed and build trust.
6. **Reliability & Support:** The system has been consistently stable. Downtime is virtually non-existent. When we have had minor questions, ARI's support team has been responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about ARI (Auto Repair Software)?
**The One Area for Improvement:**
My *only* significant usability suggestion – is the **lack of keyboard shortcuts (Esc/Enter) for navigating pop-ups and dialogs.** Currently, you *must* click the "OK," "Cancel," or "Close" buttons with the mouse. In a fast-paced shop environment where speed matters, being able to quickly hit **`Esc` to cancel/close** or **`Enter` to confirm/proceed** through the numerous pop-ups encountered daily would be a massive efficiency boost. It feels like a natural expectation in modern software and would significantly enhance the user experience for power users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
