"Thorough, Customizable Layout That Gets Easier the More You Set It Up"
4/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

The layout is thorough and customizeable. There are a lot of options for fields to add based on your needs and navigating the website is easy once you understand how it's organized and what to do. For example, using an asterisk when searching a part number if you want to do a broader search on a part family is helpful. And it truly is a software where the more time you spend setting it up, the easier it is to use later on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

Some of it is a little buggy at times. With one service that my company used, it doesn't have a great integration with Altium, but that could also just be that the other company wasn't customizing their integration enough to fit our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for leaving us a review! We're happy to hear that Arena is helping with traceability and that you're finding the customization helpful.

"Clear, Easy Status Tracking and Stakeholder Feedback"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

The centralized management of project requests, change orders, and item records across structured fields makes tracking very efficient. Having approvals and phase-gate reviews accessible from a single platform significantly improves visibility and control. It’s easy to monitor project progress at any time, which is especially helpful from a compliance and audit standpoint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

There is limited functionality for tracking activities from the production and implementation side. Currently, additional tools such as SAP or BAAN are required to manage ERP-related execution and manufacturing progress. Native ERP capabilities or stronger integration with existing ERP systems would greatly enhance end-to-end project tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for taking the time to review Arena. We're glad Arena helps support your compliance and audit efforts and appreciate your feedback regarding native ERP integrations.

"Easy to Navigate, Fast, and Perfect for Warehouse Operations"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

It is very easy to use and navigate everything is neatly organized. Great for warehouse operations , training and documents are easily accessible. The website runs fast and no glitches whatsoever. Not sure about the pricing but def worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

Maybe there is a better way to help seamline some processes such as the training and multiple tabs such as item tab when it could be shown without having to scroll and dig through. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for taking the time to leave Arena a review. We're happy to hear how our solution has improved cross-functional collaboration and overall improve warehouse operations.

"Expensive but it works"
2.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

I like that it is being constantly updated/improved. The UI looks much more polished and it's easier to adjust/customize. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

I still think it's very expensive, and Arena is adding lots of features I don't use. I wish there was a barebones version that costs half as much as what it does currently per license, that didnt do "Quality" and "Audits" and "Training". We already have all of these systems implemented and we are not looking to move to something else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Hi David,

Thank you for taking the time to review Arena! We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our product for our users. We're glad our solution is helping you with document change control and will pass along your input about different pricing structures to our internal teams.

"All-in-One Request and Change Management with Helpful Tracking"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

I like being able to manage information about requests, changes, and related items all within a single software. Because everything is in one place, the revision history, change tracking, and approval tracking are especially helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

There are a few duplicate approvals—one in Requests and another in Changes. It would be helpful if, depending on the category of change, we could eliminate duplicate approvals from the same stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're happy to hear you've found having a single source with Arena useful and hope you continue to realize value from this. Thank you for your feedback regarding the duplicate approvals. We will share this with the team to consider for future releases.

"Paperless, Web-Based Approvals From Anywhere"
4/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

The most helpful thing about Arena is not having to use physical paper and signatures to approve changes, and people can approve wherever they are even if they are on a trip. I like that its web based and you dont need to install any special software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

I dont like the price, as we are a small company and we don't use a lot of features, but we still have to pay the full price and its very expensive for what it is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable Arena: Sequential Part Numbering, BOM Generation & Solidworks Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

I like that it can be used to generate sequential part numbers and, from there, can generate a BOM. I've had no performance issues with this and there are plenty of support options. Arena integrates well with Solidworks. I haven't had a chance to try any of the AI / Intelligence features yet. I find the UI / UX to be decent, though I dislike that the navigation buttons are in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

One downside of using Arena with Solidworks is that you need to generate parts in Solidworks before you can generate part numbers in Arena. So, you end up switching between Arena and Solidworks a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for your detailed review! We're glad Arena has helped prevent duplicate part numbers and that you've found our connection to SOLIDWORKS helpful. We hope you are able to use some of our AI-enhanced features in the future and find them useful as well.

"Arena PLM & QMS: Key Uses, Benefits, and Insights"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

Structured change lifecycle across Define, Plan, Verify, Implement with clear tabs (Summary, Items, Files, Evaluation) to capture scope, BOM, forms, and approvals.

Role-based workflows with Participant, Evaluator, and Approver for GEPC, ECR/ECO/DCO—streamlining reviews and decisions.

Organized workspaces for production, PCB, and R&D, making drawings, BOMs, and instructions easy to find.

Efficient search (Basic and Advanced) to quickly locate items and changes.

Integrated forms and compliance (Eng090/Eng055, Eng093, QCF123, GEPC, ENG058r) ensuring consistent documentation and inspection control. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

Complex, multi-step workflows across phases and tabs increase effort to complete changes.

Form-heavy processes (multiple ECO/GEPC/QCF forms) add administrative overhead and risk missed details.

Non-intuitive status/judgment steps in evaluations cause back-and-forth and delays.

Navigation overhead across many specialized workspaces to find the right items and BOMs.

Revision and disposition complexity demands careful inputs, slowing implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you, Shobha, for your detailed review of Arena. Your feedback is extremely value to us, and we will share your input regarding some of the processes within the platform to our internal team to consider for future improvements. We're glad to hear that you've seen multiple benefits from using Arena, including increased visibility and quicker reviews. We hope you continue to see more efficiencies as you continue to use our platform!

"Secure Document Sharing vs Search Improvement Needed"
4/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

I like being able to share a secure link to documents to Arena to upload. I like that when the document is modified, it makes a distinction between released revision of the link and working revision of the link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

It still feels very difficult to find documents - need the search to be able to search within the documents for details that may not have been captured in the summary or other tabs. That may be a tall order but it definitely will help because there is not an alignment for naming conventions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for leaving Arena a review. We're happy you have improved document control with our QMS and appreciate your suggestion on how to make search more streamlined.

"Easy Document Control with Clear Revisions, Approvals, and BOM Downloads"
4/5
What do you like best about Arena PLM & QMS?

It’s easy to maintain documents with clear revision control, and approvals are straightforward to manage based on the hierarchy. It’s also easy to download the BOM for analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?

I’m not able to copy items between the request (DRW) and change (DCO). I have to add those items manually each time, which is a tedious task. It would be great if we could copy the items from change to request, or vice versa.

Also, modifying the Bill of Materials for assembly items in the BOM tab is getting difficult. It would be much easier if we could replace items, reorder them, and edit quantities for all items within a single tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kim Custodio of Arena PLM & QMS

Thank you for your review of Arena, Kumar! We're glad that Arena has simplified change and BOM management for you and helped with design control. Thank you also for your detailed input on copying items and modifying BOMs—we will share this feedback internally.
