Our migration was seamless and we had great support from the project team during our migration. Integration with Silicon Experts was painless and contributes to product lifecycle planning within Arena. Just today, we had an ECO and redline was not showing within ECO. we had a PCBA assembly where a capacitor had two RFEF DES removed, and the label on pCBA going from A1 to A2. The redline was visible within BOM but not within ECO . soon as the label was added as an item for change, then the RED line was showing changes within the ECO for both the PCBA and the label. so that was interesting and not very intuitive. The REDlines shoud have shown what is being changed to PCBA and Alert should have shown that Label is not added under the "item to change". **What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** nothing much at the moment ### 10. From Quaity to Projects to Changes, there are areas to complete all requirements. Customer Support at Arena is extremely fast and willing to work through areas of concern. We never wait long to get a solution. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** The major downside is the cost of subscription. This has been a real fight internally to keep Arena PLM within the business and I am always asked to review the features against other offerings. Other downsides would include the inability to 'Delete' or remove items in Production. I believe offering this feature alongside a cached 'Trash' area it would enable us to have cleaner workspaces. The numbering and naming system is also very easy to use and intuitive. Arena is an easy system to keep all of the essential business files in one place. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** One challenging aspect of Arena is that there are so many options in the drop down menu, between Items, Training, etc. - that it's easy to get lost in where you are. I've spent a lot of time searching for a training module, only to find that I was in the wrong menu, and vice versa. The use of dropdown menus and tabs allow for a comprehensive navigation and overall view of the workspace. The advanced search is greatly helpful and straighforward in creating filtered searches based on various attributes (including custom ones). The saved searches, bookmarks, and layouts further customizes my experience with the UI. My customer success coach has been integral to helping me maximize the system's features. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** I use Arena on a daily basis, so I've had a lot of time exploring than most people in our company. Although I enjoy Arena's UI, it did take some time familiarizing myself with the workspace and navigation, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a very powerful tool. It would be nice to have additional workspace settings that can be customizable, as well. **What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has been our primary system for our QMS (Document Control, Change orders, and training.) Transitioning from a paper-based system to Arena has been wonderful and rewarding. Having our documents in one database, where we can access its history in one system has been great. Managing and resolving reviews, approvals, releases, and training in a cloud-based system allows our employees to access what they need immediately and on-the-go. Previously, we were using a paper records and a company file. This feels much more organized. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but it was integrated well into our quality system. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** I spend most of my time trying to access documents- especially procedures while working. I find it kind of annoying and time consuming to just pull up a procedure to reference. I have to stop, log into arena, and try my best to find what I am looking for. If I can't remember the exact WI number or title, its a guessing game. **What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organization and upkeep of our quality system. From Items to sourcing to change management to quality to training. The ease of use for our users (employees and suppliers alike) is of the upmost importance and we haven't heard any complaints. From an audit perspective the auditors love it as there is history and improvements in processes are tracked in the changes and quality modules. The ability to share information with suppliers is important and speeds up our manufacturing processes. I find that once users are trained either in group training sessions or as individuals they catch on really quickly and are more likely to use the tool. As an administrator and trainer, I am able to offer insights and suggestions on how we together can make improvements that benefit everyone. I would also like to note that Arena Customer Support is the best I've ever experienced. They really work with you to answer your questions or help by offering their advice. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** After many years using Arena, I can't really list anything that I dislike about the tool. When I do find that there are areas where I would like to see additional functionality, I do register an enhancement request. **Recommendations to others considering Arena PLM & QMS:** Good bang for the buck. **What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Change Management, communication to teams and suppliers which speeds up changes and rework if required in a short amount of time. On-line interaction and problem solving requiring less meeting time in a group environment and allows for the problem to be solved in record time. Quality Management, able to conduct MRB via an NCMR, track SCAR's for supplier score card input, CAR for corrective and preventative actions, and many other applications. Their system has so many deatailed ways of structuring it to fit how you do business. Quite easy to intergrate into whatever type of businees you're in. We're able to track & maintain records of every aspect of our R&D process. We've set up an approval process for finalization as well as any changes or devations that arise. Arena is a tool we use in our day to day process. It's fairly intuitive, but you can get some basic training depending on how complex your requirements are. The outside vendor access is such a timesaver. Their customer support is handled by very friendly & knowledgable individuals. **What do you dislike about Arena PLM & QMS?** The only thing I wish was an option would be the ability to set custom color schemes. **What problems is Arena PLM & QMS solving and how is that benefiting you?** Arena provides us with a single source repository for every step from design to release. We can trace back any and everything that was done on a project and see exactky how we got there.
