What do you like best about Arctera Enterprise Vault?

The ease of implementation. The company was using Microsoft Exchange and we waned to amake sure that we have a robust archiving solution . The GUI is self explanatory and guide you through all the steps and the management console makes life of Administrator easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arctera Enterprise Vault?

At this point there is nothing specific but will prefer to have support even during the evaluation period as we are testing the solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Arctera Enterprise Vault:

Veritas is a pioneer in Data Management and its integration with other product line gives a complete solution rather managing it through different interface. Especially for archiving VERITAS EV is the best we have tested !!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Arctera Enterprise Vault solving and how is that benefiting you?

We wanted to make sure that we have a solid archiving solution as we are a legal firm. Also the storage is other big concern and trying to solve it with Veritas EV deduplication technology. Being a legal firm compliance is very important and Veritas EV has tools to better manage users and hold them responsible for their activities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Arctera Enterprise Vault?

EV is a great tool to help an organization optimize their Exchange environment (by reducing records and communication requests to the exchange server(s)) and/or helping organizations prepare for eDiscovery. When combined with other tools (ClearWell, etc.) it multiples it's usefulness and is the best of breed for these use-cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Arctera Enterprise Vault?

The value proposition for EV is compelling only when used to handle on-premise eDiscovery or on-prem exchange optimization. If resources are in the cloud, it's better to use EV.Cloud or another type of archiving cloud solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Arctera Enterprise Vault:

Absolutely speak with an EV expert before architecting the solution to ensure that it will play nice with the rest of your infrastructure. It's a great tool, but it does become a layer of your infrastructure that you must manage and maintain. For it's cost and savings potential it really is a no-brainer.
