It does not have the support for many android devices that are coming into market everyday. Google should consider their ARcore support criteria. EVERYTHING. The recent addition of the scene viewer support only made things a million times better. It set the bar high for Web XR. Besides that, you can use the SDK in Android Studio, Unity Engine, Unreal Engine. Image tracking, multiple surface tracking, vertical tracking is pretty on point. The ARCore SDK at times becomes unresponsive as it seems that it can't handle more than one model at times, the Object Manipulation and Handling of 3D Models seems tough to handle after a certain number of models are instantiated, ARCore's performance varies. I think the way it automatically understands the illumination conditions makes it different from other platforms.
