Archiware P5 Archive migrates data from online storage to a disk, cloud or tape Archive. Archiving can be manual or automated and offers the option of previews/proxies and metadata to build an Archive catalogue for a simple user restore. When archiving to LTO tape, the cloning feature creates two identical sets of tape to facilitate offsite storage. Parallelization of drives allows for maximum throughput. The add-on P5 Companion allows drag-and-drop archiving and retrieval. Stubs/link files remain in the original location for easy restore and provide previews and metadata on double-click. P5 Archive is part of the P5 Software platform consisting of four Modules: P5 Synchronize for data replication, P5 Backup for Server Backup, P5 Backup2Go for endpoint backup and P5 Archive for data migration.
