I really appreciate ArcGIS Survey123's unmatched fusion of robust GIS geospatial functionality and field-ready practicality. Its precision and customizable geotagging eliminates the manual coordinate entry or reliance on low-quality GPS data, which solves one of the biggest sources of spatial error in fieldwork. The ability to capture location data tailored to the field task without the hassle of manual transcription is a significant advantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find slow load times and buggy previews frustrating. The web designer lags with large or complex surveys (100+ questions), and the in-app survey preview often doesn't reflect how the form will look on the mobile field app, forcing repeated testing on devices. Slow load times in the web designer are particularly annoying when opening saved complex surveys, with initial survey loads taking 2–5 minutes, causing the page to freeze and sometimes corrupt recent changes. The live editing process is sluggish as well, with a 5–10 second delay every time I add or edit questions, turning short tasks into lengthy processes. Additionally, adding spatial logic or complex conditional rules can cause a sync lag with the ArcGIS cloud, leading to freezes, accidental duplicates, or broken logic. Bulk editing often fails, either taking too long or crashing the designer altogether, which forces me to make edits manually one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
