It’s incredibly straightforward for our field staff to use on-site, even with limited tech experience. We can quickly design custom forms for inspections, delivery checks, and material audits without coding, and teams can fill them out offline on tablets or phones when site reception is poor. Once back online, everything syncs automatically. The built-in GPS location tagging is a game-changer for our industry. Every entry is tied to a precise job site location in Berlin, so we never have to guess where an issue was recorded. It eliminated messy paper checklists, cut out hours of manual data entry, and gives our office real-time, reliable spatial data to make faster decisions. The initial setup was surprisingly straightforward and user-friendly, even for our team without dedicated GIS specialists. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Survey123?** Offline functionality is solid, but form logic and conditional fields can behave inconsistently when working offline, requiring staff to re-enter data once connected. The form builder is easy for basic surveys, but complex conditional logic for detailed construction inspections becomes cumbersome to set up and debug. ArcGIS Online, Office 365 or Gmail, Microsoft Flow for somethings but Integromat for smoother integration. Bottom line there isn't a cohesive solution for all users. **What problems is ArcGIS Survey123 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Eliminating some paper processes. Those with experience using other XForm and XLSForm (ODK, Ona, etc) will have little problems adjusting to the Esri implementation found in Survey123. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Survey123?** By default, published forms are backed by hosted feature layers (in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise) which limit your ability to manage data (my opinion). This has lead me to experience a number of issues with reliability and I have since migrated my data source to my own ArcGIS Server Feature Services. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Survey123:** Test, test, test, test first so you can work out the kinks BEFORE you send folk out the door. Though this (and many other) products from Esri are marketed as "Easy to deploy" you always get out what you put in... So do your homework, test your surveys and monitor your system throughout the data collection process. You will run into hiccups, make them little hiccups by having a good game plan **What problems is ArcGIS Survey123 solving and how is that benefiting you?** Field data collection, first and foremost.
