Who should use ArcGIS Hub? **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2022 **What do you like best about ArcGIS Hub?** It has seamless integration with ArcGIS online web applications and you don't need to know any coding to make a functional website/online platform for community engagement with it. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Hub?** If you are using ArcGIS desktop to process and store your spatial data, transitioning that data to ArcGIS online and subsequently, ArcGIS Hub can be a bit troublesome. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Hub:** If you are part of a non-profit, look into free ArcGIS Online subscriptions first! **What problems is ArcGIS Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** It can be an excellent resource to utilize for some community-focused volunteer projects. It allows you to create websites and web pages fairly easily and acquiring a subscription for non-profit projects is not difficult! ### 3. Easy to use tool for spinning up great looking websites with dashboards **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2020 **What do you like best about ArcGIS Hub?** Most of all, creating web pages that enables users to experience maps, data, rich media super quickly and the ability to continuously improve the page after launch. In addition to that, the in-page editor is very easy to use, and well-built. I've never experienced an error or bug of any kind while editing a Hub site. The layout components are great and make it really easy to create web pages with dynamic grids and content, embedded videos, embedded social feeds, images. The custom HTML editor is also very nice. The fact that Hub sites include Bootstrap CSS is also great because it's a tool that most developers know, and expands the potential of custom interfaces. Also, the entire product is very well-documented. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Hub?** - I wish I could also add custom javascript to the HTML tags inside the editor, or somewhere else. - I wish the editor wouldn't strip out tabindex attributes from HTML tags. - I wish the version of bootstrap included was v4 - I wish I had control over the parent divs outside of the Hub page content **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Hub:** Use Hub to build great looking web pages for your data. **What problems is ArcGIS Hub solving and how is that benefiting you?** Working in state government, we used ArcGIS Hub to quickly respond to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a very short amount of time, our team was able to create a great looking website with embedded maps and data dashboards. Additionally, we use ArcGIS ### 4.
