Software easily creates point cloud and orthomisaic images from 1000s of images. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Drone2Map?** Not very easy to correct point clouds created on building's rooftop edges. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Drone2Map:** If you're familiar with Pix4D, the process is very similar because it's based on it. **What problems is ArcGIS Drone2Map solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used Drone2map to calculate volumes dumps. It can customize and change aerial view shots into 3D; this is a game-changer for Arc-GIS. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Drone2Map?** I experienced some lag in the rendering of images, which is strange because the image type and size were no bigger than any other files I have rendered previously. It could be related to the software itself. **What problems is ArcGIS Drone2Map solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am mapping updated and remote locations across Ontario. Many of these locations are still uninhabited and have not been captured in 3D previously. Capturing these images will allow for a new level of analysis in the literature regarding urban planning and utilities. ### 6. Easy push integration to ESRI's core GIS products as well. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Drone2Map?** It lacks a mobile app for planning as well as data to cloud uploading. Less compelling for non-ESRI users. DroneDeploy offers similar features for less cost. $2K+ annually is a lot considering drone technology is still in its infancy. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Drone2Map:** This program is a great imagery analysis connector between drone hardware providers and ESRI's core geospatial solution set. You'll have access to ESRI's growing set of analysis tools intended for drone data. However, the price of over $2K+ annually is tough to justify for users not already embedded into ESRI's core offering. **What problems is ArcGIS Drone2Map solving and how is that benefiting you?** Measure aggregate stockpiles to better understand the volume of materials on site. Then incorporate the measurements into site planning reports created from ArcGIS. ### 13. From images with GPS data, it is capable of generating a file with the drone's trajectory and the shooting points. Once calibrated and verified that all the data is correct, the generation process starts in a very intuitive way. Once finished, a precision and data quality report is generated and the generated products are uploaded. **What do you dislike about ArcGIS Drone2Map?** Something expensive. But it works excellently. **Recommendations to others considering ArcGIS Drone2Map:** It is a powerful tool to unleash the full potential of your drone images. It offers streamlined workflows that quickly convert drone images into usable products. And it supports 3D workflows. **What problems is ArcGIS Drone2Map solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits I obtain are: Precision and technology.
