What I like best about ArborXR is the app and content management — it makes it really easy to deploy and organize our XR applications across multiple headsets and campus locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ArborXR? One thing I'd like to see improved is app store access while in kiosk mode. Right now there's no direct way to browse or install apps from the store when a device is locked into kiosk mode, so we have to take the headset out of kiosk mode first just to add or update an app. It would be great to have a more streamlined way to manage app installs without needing to toggle kiosk mode off and on each time. ArborXR is solving the challenge of managing and deploying VR headsets at scale across multiple locations. There are a few minor issues related to features that aren’t currently available. For example, we would like the option to hide the video pause and advance buttons. My only complaint is that remote viewing isn't available on the Meta headsets, but I understand that this is a limitation imposed by Meta, not a limitation of Arbor. What problems is ArborXR solving and how is that benefiting you? love ArborXr since they saved us a bit before Meta (Oculus) enterprise stopped supporting multiple headsets for app deployment. We struggled with the apps and efficiently deployed them to the 15 or so sets. Our used case was that we had headsets in multiple locations, so Arbor was the perfect fit. Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 2/23/2023 "A flexible MDM for managing VR Devices" 4.5/5 What do you like best about ArborXR? The interface is excellent, and it's very easy to use. Adding devices is straightforward and managing them has been a breeze. The reports I generate have been useful and the analytics help me keep an eye on how my end users are utilizing the devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ArborXR? The two main issues we have with Arbor are loading devices into the system and deploying apps from the Meta Store. Devices have to be tethered to join the MDM - it would be wonderful to be able to load them without having to touch each device. The other issue is that apps located on the Meta store must be downloaded to an individual device to appear in the dashboard for use. It would be great if simply adding them would allow the headset to download them with the stored account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is ArborXR solving and how is that benefiting you? Arbor XR gives us a management portal to monitor and administer our VR headsets. The management dashboard is easy to use, and the support from ArborXR is top of the line. Having access to ArborXR has opened up opportunities for us to use VR in ways that wouldn't have been manageable otherwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about ArborXR? The setup was a little cumbersome but that is true of all management software. They've made the process as streamline as possible. ArborXR has a great library of help documents with screenshots and they also have links built into the software to go to their help pages. What problems is ArborXR solving and how is that benefiting you? We use ArborXR to manage VR headsets within a school district. We were very limited to what we could use the headsets for because of having to be cognitive of protecting our students from accidentally navigating to programs on the headset that they should not be viewing. We also had issues with some students not knowing how to navigate through the Oculus Quest environment. Since implementing Arbor XR, we can lock out all apps except for the ones we want students to have access to. We can also lock access to settings so students aren't able to make any changes to the headsets. We are working towards providing alternative options to meet curriculum requirements through use of VR for students with disabilities, we use them in our language departments, career exploration, Science and hope to expand to other curriculums as well. As a user of ArborXR's VR headset management system, we have seen firsthand the transformative effects it can have on our operations. Currently managing a fleet of approximately 30 devices, the system has streamlined our device management process, making it easier and more efficient than ever before. What's more, ArborXR has also helped us save substantial amounts of time and effort by enabling us to manage apps from outside vendors through its platform. This has been a game-changer for us, freeing up valuable resources that we can then direct towards other important aspects of our business. It's hard to overstate the impact that ArborXR has had on our operations. We are truly impressed with the platform and its capabilities, and can't recommend it enough to others looking for an efficient and effective solution for VR headset management.
