ArborXR allows me to manage a large fleet of Meta Quest 2 VR headsets belonging to my organization. Using ArborXR, I can install apps and files onto multiple devices remotely, saving me a great deal of time. I also enjoy the features linked to the headset experience, such as creating an optional home environment for the users that lock them out of certain headset features. It also makes training new users on our VR headsets much easier by providing a custom interface. ArborXR is constantly coming out with new updates and features to improve the overall experience, which I greatly appreciate. Finally, ArborXR is free for users with less than 50 headsets, a highly generous business model that allows small businesses to manage the headsets without worrying about costs. There is nothing I specifically dislike about ArborXR. There are only two features that I think would improve it, both of which the company is likely working on. First, it would be beneficial to stream the headset to a computer to see what the user is seeing. Also, it would be helpful to be able to download files from specific headsets to a computer. As a school, we must mitigate possible risks when students use devices linked to the internet. The VR devices (like the Quest) I have used don't provide an easy way to lock down the experience to ensure a safe environment for our students. Students can easily get access to applications that are inappropriate for their age (i.e. gambling) or into multiplayer environments (we have no idea who could be interacting with the students).

ArborXR solves this problem for us. Through their custom launcher, we can lock down the experience to ensure that students can only access the applications that have been approved. As an added bonus, ArborXR allows for some custom branding, which is a nice touch too.

From a management point of view, it allows staff to monitor what applications are being run, update wifi passwords and deploy new applications remotely, making life much easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We love using ArborXR. Only issue we had was connecting with our network (it needs authentication at a portal before internet access is granted)

What would be great is a way to automatically take the user to a set webpage after the device starts up, which will allow them to log in. (It could also be used to display a custom terms/conditions of use page too?) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
