I like the ease of learning how to use the tagging. I also like the print and publish capabilities, as well as the ease of sharing a file among other users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Arbortext Editor? There are features missing from AT that other software programs such as Microsoft Word have. For example, there is no easy way to change heading levels like there is in Word, and help tools are more difficult to navigate than other programs’. The ability to work on an XML file and add specific content to it. For example, in my workplace, I was able to copy and paste company manual content into specific XML tags in the editor from Microsoft Word seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Arbortext Editor? The ability to completely edit the XML file is lacking in this software. Recommendations to others considering Arbortext Editor: If your company has implemented this software, it does the job (but some things are limited in editing, such as the XML tags). It does have help and customer support (but wish that my company would upgrade to either the latest version of Arbortext or try another alternative, such as XMetal).
