We use aras innovator for proto, mass production drawings/CAD/BOM management. I like it's featues such as drawings comparison, BOM explosion/implosion, availability of all files extension (like .stp, drw, pdf etc) It manages engineering changes, drawing issue records very well. Although I like all the features but this is very very slow. A very high-speed internet is required to work properly. Sometimes even in a fast connection it works too slow. I find Aras Innovator to be great collaboration software, which allows me and my team to work efficiently both locally and across regions. The parts design and management features, along with serviceability and seamless integration with other applications, are particularly useful. I find the migration process from other software to Aras Innovator very difficult and lengthy. It's quite a challenge to set up initially. Additionally, the pricing is quite expensive, and reducing it a bit would be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrations are easy and straightforward. It is easy to use and rapidly becomes a daily assistant for performing product development. Implementation tends to go faster and with more ease than other legacy platforms because of the extreme flexibility of the data model. Lastly, they have a proactive support organization that makes the customer feel valued - they support this also via live events like the annual ACE conference where the entire technical organization is present to answer questions and address concerns.
