I value the Part Search feature, especially with the use of boolean search terms, because it makes it easy to find large groups of parts using wildcards or pipes. **What do you dislike about Aras Innovator?** I would like to see a form of the impact matrix for MCOs. Also, we used to use more reports in Aras Innovator, but that was disabled. We typical file support tickets through an Aras partner and they handle most issues but when the issue is serious it is escalated to Aras. Aras allows us to produce and track parts, BOM's and jobs and control and track revisioning. The flexibility allows us to integrate freely to as many platforms as we wish, without fear of added costs or difficulties connecting. **What do you dislike about Aras Innovator?** The UI for the Change Management is a bit dated and could use some updating. The sign-offs window for example are a common gripe for our users, as is the convoluted impacted matrix. The rest of the UI is quite simple to understand and interact with but these screens feel dated. All of our product data and related documents now live in one, connected system with appropriate rev control and approvals in place. I felt very naturally drawn in to learning the skills needed to become a full-on developer. I also appreciate the customer support and the variety of employees who have supported our various technical and implementation needs. **What do you dislike about Aras Innovator?** Some issues we've faced with Innovator is the default intuitiveness of the platform. I can see that it will improve as we update beyond 27, but there are lots of functions that I have to consistently remind users how to reach. There are also functions that I would expect to have out of the box (like downloading multiple files) that are not available. Sometimes the tutorials available are too old and don't work with SaaS or newer versions. s **What problems is Aras Innovator solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aras is providing digital organization, automation and accountability to our change management process. We are now able to evaluate, debate, and approve ECOs without an in person meeting. We also like how ARAS is continually improving the product. It is also easy to use once you get the hang of it. **What do you dislike about Aras Innovator?** We are an on-prem customer who really wants the additional features of the SAAS capabilities however, ARAS is still not FedRAMP certified. With us being government we are not able to use any of the SAAS that are not FedRAMP certified. I like it's featues such as drawings comparison, BOM explosion/implosion, availability of all files extension (like .stp, drw, pdf etc) It manages engineering changes, drawing issue records very well. Separate options are available for the management of internal & customer/vendor drawings. It integrates with NX CAD. **What do you dislike about Aras Innovator?** Although I like all the features but this is very very slow. A very high-speed internet is required to work properly. Sometimes even in a fast connection it works too slow. In some area, it needs improvement like when we extract a list of engineering changes, we can't import the list to Excel. **What problems is Aras Innovator solving and how is that benefiting you?** New drawings release for proto & mass production, BOM management, and engineering change management.
