Arachnys for due diligence research **Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Legal Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2021 **What do you like best about Arachnys?** Arachnys allows me to search for global news and country-specific news and to add adverse terms as a filter. The adverse filter shows me potential negative news on a client or prospective client more easily and efficiently. I can search in English or another language and add those adverse terms accordingly. I also use Arachnys as a double check for PEP designation after I use my primary source, WorldCheck One (Refinitiv). **What do you dislike about Arachnys?** I don't like not having a headline or company filter when I start my search. I find that sometimes I get way too many hits! I also find that searching for a person with a common name is not very helpful unless I know more about him/her. Also downloading the records by creating tags is a but cumbersome, but it works. **What problems is Arachnys solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can use Arachnys to find news on a person or company. I can also use it to focus on potential adverse things. And I can use it to help me link out to a corporate registry for OpenCorporates or directly from another country. I can review any sanctions hits.
