Whether you use it for docketing, idea disclosure, strategy or pulling reporting - it does it all. **What do you dislike about AQX?** Because it does it all, there are MANY things to learn. After a year I am STILL learning. Love that they updated their training system from ACE and now have easy to follow videos. **What problems is AQX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We now have an overall look at our entire portfolio and can make more informed decisions. I feel they are a leader in that area. They engage with their clients and listen to their needs. Anaqua does a really good job of implementing improvements based on that feedback in their upgrades and product development. **What do you dislike about AQX?** Like all other products in the industry, there are areas of improvement needed. Most notably, document workflow. This is an area that could use attention. Additionally, it is important to add better support for patent and trademark enforcement matters in their docketing systems. The current support is lacking in providing support for enforcement matters filed in countries other than the United States. The current support for US enforcement matters, also, needs additional improvement. I have brought this to Anaqua's attention and understand that they are working on some enhancements so I will reserve further critique until those enhancements roll out. Finally, it would be nice to see trademark monitoring and watch service support integrated into their PATTSY platform. **What problems is AQX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We currently use a couple of products, PATTSY and Global IP Estimator, which assist our teams with managing their dockets and providing our clients with estimates. Both are good products and ensure quality and efficiency. It is one of the indispensable solutions. Distinctive features: - Every detail has been considered for departments with a large intellectual property portfolio - Patent, trademark, design, domain, copyright applications can be designed for every stage starting from the invention disclosure form. - It can follow deadlines according to local-based laws. - It makes reminders and also allows inventors to follow their online applications. - All processes and forms are configurable - Also supports cloud-based operation **What do you dislike about AQX?** Despite its many important features and vital features for inhouse intellectual property departments, it has the following disadvantages; - It is quite complex to use - it is very difficult for a new user to use this service without training - Screen interfaces are pretty outdated -Compared to other solutions in this area, most other services do not have this content. However, other services offer simpler and more practical solutions - When we design a screen interface for a new study, we have a hard time - Screen transitions are slow - it is quite expensive **Recommendations to others considering AQX:** If your intellectual property portfolio is large and you have different types of intellectual property rights (such as patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights), you definitely need a multifunctional inhouse software. Despite its outdated interface and high price, Anaqua has the infrastructure to meet all your needs in this field. **What problems is AQX solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can list the problems it eliminates and the advantages it provides as follows: - It automates invention notifications as well as automatically invention disclosure numbering - Provides the use of intellectual property portfolio from a single center - Minimizes dependency on attorney offices - Automates document registration processes - Makes it easy to get reports or review portfolios - It digitizes all processes instead of following them with excel or folder. **Official Response from Nancy Hegarty:** > Thank you for your time and comprehensive feedback. When using the software, you don't feel like trademarks was an afterthought. **What do you dislike about AQX?** Sometimes certain aspects of docketing are not as intuitive as one would hope. **Recommendations to others considering AQX:** Anaqua has all the bells and whistles which can be extremely helpful.
