"The PDF SDK that is precise and matches my strategy is Apryse."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

My favorite capability of the Apryse PDF SDK is its ability to automate document workflows within internal applications: merging pdfs, appending e signature fields, and text retrieval for report generation and other timely tasks. Ever since the applications and workflows have been automated, there is no need to manage different formats of PDF documents emerging from various users. It has been quite a while since I have encountered issues like inconsistent formatting of documents or PDF files breaking. Personally, I consider it the most seamless pdf automation application of internal business processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

The volume of documentation at time resembles a cluttered bookshelf where one has to sift through an exhaustive array of classes and methods just to find the most relevant example. I’ve run into problems with pdf files that did not render the way I expected and had to troubleshoot. The pdf sdk software support for business processes is decent, especially, when one is trying to figure out the most simplified suggestions suitable for small enterprises. "A reliable PDF SDK that helps save time and makes apps feel more professional."
4/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

What I like the most about Apryse PDF SDK is that it is very rich in features and very reliable. I've tried using libraries by Syncfusion PDF viewer or open-source using PDF.js; however, Apryse on every occasion feels snappier and more elegant and is just easier to work with. Along with the code samples, the documentation is at least good, besides they feel solid, obviously because of not writing much we get through our way out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

My main problem with it is that licensing is inflexible and sometimes expensive, especially when I need only a portion of the SDK for a particular project. Periodic updates bring in breaking changes, demanding more time to debug. Also, even though many of the examples are helpful, I have hit upon sample code that was not entirely current, a thorn in the side when time is of the essence. "Robust PDF Analysis with Some Setup Hurdles"
4/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

I appreciate using the Apryse PDF SDK because it helps me recognize characters on a string of PDFs with accuracy and consistency. I like how robust and powerful it is. I use the PDF character recognition tool the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

It could have a GUI. The initial setup was a little difficult, though the team helped me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Trying to Get Signatures to Smooth Workflows with Apryse PDF SDK."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

The ease of interacting with PDFs and contracts in the Apryse PDF SDK is the most lovable part. Uploading files, appending fields, and dispatching them are executed very fast, which spares a second thought for the recipient’s tech savviness because everybody gets it. Those templates save me from rewriting the very agreements time and again, so that has been really doubling my speed. Not just that, signed contracts hit my CRM, and billing systems receive integrations automatically, which kind of keeps everything in place and professional. What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

My biggest concerns lie with the mobile experience, which does not always replicate the level of intuitiveness one finds when working on the desktop and can inadvertently misplace fields. Further, more than once, I have been stuck at the part of editing a document post-signatures, where “editing” changes would just have me restart instead of a small adjustment within a few clicks. Improvement opportunities for Apryse versus alternatives like Docusign would be in enhancing live support and better nonprofit discounts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apryse PDF SDK is very reliable and secure and also surprisingly lightweight."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

One thing that I really like about Apryse PDF SDK is its flexibility to edit. It seems there is nothing that I can’t do with a PDF hence the reason it performs great. The conversion of files to Microsoft Office formats is smooth – I’ve been using it for years now and never faced any major issues. This is also beneficial because it supports multiple platforms and makes it easier for the user to use since one could be using different devices in a day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

One thing I really wish Apryse had was that it didn’t combine multiple PDFs into one file—I do that often with other tools like Adobe Acrobat. Once in a while, the formats become messy after editing, particularly in PDFs holding many tables or embedded figures. That said, while this has only happened a few times, the app has actually crashed on me a couple of times during a session, which does not bode well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"At last, a Document SDK that doesn't make me lose my mind."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

All in all, what sold me on Apryse PDF SDK was how much it just works - without weird formatting issues, without a clunky UI, and without constantly having to switch between apps to get the most basic tasks done. I’m not that technical, but I was able to make a flow wherein contracts could get signed, edited, and sent out within minutes without chasing anyone and converting files five times. And then I even found myself using it for quick edits over Google Docs - something I never thought I’d say. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

I wish they would have been more upfront with pricing. When I first saw it, my reaction was it was free, only to start loading and then hit me with the limitations unless you subscribe. And while I understand the security of it all, having to log in just to save a doc when I’m running between meetings is a little bit annoying. For smaller teams like us, it’s a little bit over what we pay for to be kind of using it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and Powerful PDF SDK for .NET Core"
5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

The Apryse PDF SDK has been incredibly reliable in our .NET Core application. It integrates smoothly and allows us to generate professional documents entirely through code. One of the best features is its excellent Unicode support — we’ve been able to create PDFs that include Arabic, Russian, Chinese, and other languages without any formatting or rendering issues. The SDK is fast, stable, and consistently produces high-quality PDFs, which has made it a core part of our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

Honestly, there isn’t much to dislike. The documentation could be a bit more detailed in certain advanced scenarios, but overall, the product works exactly as promised and has exceeded our expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"It is very reliable and easy for developers to use in complicated situations."
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

The most impressive thing about Apryse PDF SDK is how developer-friendly and adaptable it is. The experience has been transparent across iOS, Android, Web, Windows platforms loved how little friction there was for my engineering team in all of the environments. Their support team is another major plus—responsive, deeply technical, and often jumping in at short notice to help troubleshoot or advise on tricky implementation challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

The initial setup for the Web SDK can feel a bit clunky compared to typical npm packages, and theming customization could be more streamlined with better CSS variable support. I also noticed that the Windows and Android SDKs occasionally lag behind the iOS version in terms of feature parity, which required some extra work on our end to unify the user experience. That being said, Apryse appears to actively be closing this gap, so I’m hopeful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosted our Doc security without the headaches"
5/5
What do you like best about Apryse PDF SDK?

Last quarter we were racing to roll out this new secure document signing feature for our mobile banking app and Apryse's PDF SDK just clicked right into our Node.js backend like it was meant to be there. I mean the way it handles dynamic form filling and digital signatures using their Stamp API especially saved us from a mess of open source hacks that would've broken under load. Apryse PDF SDK letts us encrypt and validate PDFs on the fly without a hitch. It's cross platform support meant our iOS and Android teams could sync up effortlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apryse PDF SDK?

The one thing that trips me up sometimes is how the SDK chews through memory when you're batch processing those hefty compliance reports. We hit an obstacle early on integrating it with our AWS setup. There were few large files just stalled the queue for way longer than expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
