Aprimo does all of that and it does it well! Aprimo is a highly sophisticated DAM, which offers a level of customizability unmatched by its competitors. For us, the ability to set permissions at various levels for different internal teams was essential. The tool is more intuitive than our last DAM, and it has made implementing a data model much more easier. From a customer service perspective, we had a very positive experience with the team that first introduced us to Aprimo, the onboarding and setup team did a FANTASTIC job teaching us about the tool and helping us get setup (Dean and Shuja are the best), and we currently work with an customer success partner that is receptive and responsive to our needs. I would say that Aprimo would be a great fit for: • A team with complex needs • A team that counts on a very skilled IT System Administrator who can learn the complexity of the backend and continue building upon it, where relevant • If you don’t have a sys admin that has that skillset, then I would suggest allocating a budget towards concierge services, where Aprimo can manage additional future system configurations and fixes • A team that has AIneeds and has a solid understanding of the AI credits system before migrating to the tool **What do you dislike about Aprimo?** CI-Hub: The CI-Hub connector that Aprimo integrates limits our team’s ability to work quickly and efficiently. This connector is meant to facilitate cross-platform work so that a user can work in a program (InDesign for example) and be able to natively retrieve assets from the DAM (Aprimo) within that same program. However, based on the current setup, our teams: - have to do more clicks just to find assets on CI-Hub - they have to routinely log back into the Aprimo system on Ci-Hub because it kicks them out - they have a hard time finding assets because the filter system that exists in Aprimo is severely limited through CI-Hub connector The only workaround has been for our team to find an asset in Aprimo, copy the asset’s name, paste it into CI-Hub, and find the asset in CI-Hub to relink in the project. Unfortunately, when you are working on projects that have hundreds of assets, this becomes very time-consuming. Salesy: After we went live with our environment, there have been times where Aprimo’s approach to continued customer engagement has felt salesy. In other words, rather than focusing on how we can improve our experience of the platform, the focus has been on new features and onboarding new teams at an additional cost. This seems to have leveled off a bit now, but it would be helpful if Aprimo could understand that if the product works well and they can help our teams reap the max potential from it, then any additional sales opportunities will come naturally. Reports: While Aprimo has very sophisticated backend reporting that leverages PowerBi, it’s not very easy or intuitive for us to quickly pull a relevant report or generate it ourselves. They have reporting templates and dashboards, which give a general idea of stats, but something that is more straightforward, less complicated, and that gives us more control over what we want to measure would make the platform much stronger, especially when we need to tease out specific information to show ROI for our executive sponsors and project stakeholders. **What problems is Aprimo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Aprimo enables cross-functional teams to easily access the assets they need, reducing the inefficiencies caused by scattered storage and the duplication or repurposing of existing content. ### 9. Also I don't like that we can't vote on comments to note they are completed or accepted.
