Ease of use, our field staff was able to learner to use Apricot quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a small nonprofit and used Apricot for several years. It’s effective, but expensive for what you get. We had a minor billing dispute which we had a hard time resolving. We did not renew our contract and Apricot kept billing us. Next thing we had a lawyer/bill collector threatening our front line staff—and board members. Now our data is held hostage and we can’t get the issue resolved.
It’s been a very frustrating experience. Social Solutions is demanding almost twice as much as our auditors documented we owe. There are many other database options for small organizations, for example Amazon’s nonprofit AWS has a wide range of products you can create yourself—and own your own data. Be careful.
