Apptegy Gets an A+ One Platform for School Communication **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026 **What do you like best about Apptegy?** I love that Apptegy gives us a single platform for social Media, including Facebook and Instagram, along with website creation, branding, and newsletter creation to help us Engage with families. It’s also great that we can send Alerts to families from the same platform. Teachers can also communicate with families through the Rooms feature. **What do you dislike about Apptegy?** I honestly haven’t found any downsides to using it so far. Once I received training, I adapted quickly to the platform and to the different applications within it. **What problems is Apptegy solving and how is that benefiting you?** It’s truly a one-stop platform for everything. It saves me time because it’s all right there in one place. I used to use one student information system platform for emails, another to send texts and phone messages, and separate design software for our newsletters. Teachers also had to resort to using personal cell phones or landlines to communicate with families, and we even had an entirely different platform for our website. Now it’s all there. It’s one-stop shopping, and there’s a parent app that houses it all. Communication is consistent and it integrates with our Student Information System. We save money because we are not paying for multiple platforms and systems. ### 2.
