It's surprisingly easy to quickly put up a few screens, add some basic forms, make a workflow and throw up a dashboard. Retool's another really good option out there and, to be fair, is faster when it comes to putting up standard workflows in the typical org super quickly, but the pricing is a downer. APIs aren't hard but I feel like some of the basics could/should have been easier to set up like sending an email, or pushing a message to a Slack channel based on events, stuff like that.
