**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

It's very easy to use, and works well. I like that it offers great functionality for free. You can create a dashboard and create forms in a short amount of time.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

Nothing at fault here! It works really well.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using AppSmith to create an easily accessible app for recording and managing our teams' QA records. It works as a library to view QA records within any set time period, and to be able to track individual performance.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

I like how easy it is to integrate into other data sources such as GraphQL etc., and then using that data is a breeze. I also like how you can copy widgets across multiple pages to avoid repetitive tasks.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

Sometimes when there are different-sized widgets on the page, getting them to align correctly can be a challenge. This particularly happens when some of the widgets contain text above them compared to ones that don't.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The ability to create dashboard pages for our customer very quickly and efficiently. For example if they need a report created that does xyz, it doesn't take long to create a page/app that can achieve this

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

Appsmith helps you to quickly build internal tools. With appsmith, you don't need to be a master in HTML or CSS. With a knowledge in Javascript you can build any software that you can dream of.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

It's really difficult to pin point any downside of appsmith, however, I think the team can work on the responsiveness of apps designed with appsmith. Apps viewed with mobile devices becomes a bit of an issue

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using appsmith to develop a laboratory information management system as well as other internal tools. Presently, we provide lab services to our clients in the food industry, and we developing an application to digitize these processes.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

The Appsmith templates got me started right away. Tool's super no-code friendly - it helped me get kickstarted on my internal sales performance monitoring dashboard. I was up and running by end of the day!

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

I think the UI can have a bit of jazz, but more than that, I think the tool kind of solves for everything. So none I can think off.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So Appsmith gave me a headstart while creating my Sales performance tracking application - i was mostly maintaining the data as part of internal excel sheets, with respect to my product sales performance. With Appsmith, I was quickly able to put together a functional Sales performance dashboard, along with advanced controls such as email tracking and sales logging from tickets.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

Appsmith's user interface is incredibly intuitive and user-friendly. The drag-and-drop feature makes it a breeze to create complex UIs, and the extensive library of pre-built components saves a tremendous amount of time
Appsmith truly shines when it comes to backend integrations. The platform seamlessly connects with various databases and APIs, allowing for seamless data retrieval and manipulation. The inbuilt support for popular databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, as well as APIs like REST and GraphQL, makes it a one-stop solution for all my backend needs.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

Good for small scale application but need improvement on layout and navigation for large and complex applications.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Build quickly internal applications in less time with limited resource.

I find Appsmith very customisable and it makes my life easy as i am focussing on building custom dashboards. Extensive documentation also makes life very easy.

Hopefully some more UI elements in the future!

- Possibility to deploy it on-premise.
- User-friendly dev interface.
- Lots of data source connectors.
- Variety of available interface widgets.
- The team offers excellent and quick support.

- There's no easy way to print labels; you must press a few buttons before sending something to the printer.
- The table widget doesn't have a customizable number of rows.

Appsmith helps us build fully customized apps that perfectly correspond to the needs of the business. The platform makes it easy for the end-user to view and modify exactly the data that he needs to.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

The Appsmith team is very communicative and is constantly shipping new features. They listen to their clients and make sure everybody feels heard. By being open-source, Appsmith empowers clients like us to build on top of it and have visibility of their code and internal process.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

It's been incredible to see the progress Appsmith made in the last six months, but like any new-ish product, a few core features are still missing, so I recommend researching and testing before committing to it. My use case is pretty complex but it still got it to work.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appsmith is enabling my team to build a complex internal admin system with a low amount of code. We stopped being concerned about how a button will look or how to implement it, to think about the flow and the rules around it.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

I was always a Microsoft Access guy, but I could never deploy that to the web.  Enter Appsmith and my stuff is OUT THERE!  And support is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

The Git feature has been giving me issues.  Also, not good for DRY development.  I believe they are working on both of these areas.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an awesome platform for the development of Internal processes.  I think the business addition will allow for the development of Client-facing  Apps as well.

- it does have some bugs in the self-hosted version
- the debugging of more complex code fragments is kind of hard, since no real debugger is given
- limited due to limit of the different widgets (new ones are released tho!)

Different data-domains are being maintained by different web-apps that are built by using AppSmith.

Simple to install, Appsmith truly addresses the challenge of rapidly creating a business application on top of a database. It allows focusing on the critical business logic while taking care of the presentation. Appsmith reduces to days the time needed to produce an internal application.

The platform would benefit from more in-depth documentation, allowing  faster access to its full potential

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

As a product manager, I wanted to use Appsmith first on a personal use case, to assess it against other low-code tools. The speed with which I was able to assemble a functional prototype leads me to want to use it on professional use cases.
The team was also very responsive in helping me figure out how best to address my needs with the product.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

The process of addind a data source (specifically, a Google Sheet) and easily linking my data to my app could be more streamlined.

The open-source nature. Flexibility to build for different use cases and time required to develop and publish.
The tool is so easy to use that event no-code builders can leverage it

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

The paid version competitors have many more advanced features, but I am sure Appsmith will catchup.

Helps in building simple internal tools rapidly and efficiently. The open-source nature helps keep the cost down in the early days of the company. The basic system provides everything needed to scale, like controlled access and roles . Easy UI for connectors etc.

**What do you like best about Appsmith?**

As a coder, I was a bit against using no-code/low-code services tills decided to test Appsmith for an internal project, and I fell in love with how easy I could build apps.

**What do you dislike about Appsmith?**

I have not found anything yet that I dislike, maybe the missing link that I see for me personally is to independently publish a web or mobile app.

**Recommendations to others considering Appsmith:**

As for any product evaluation, you need to have your business requirements defined before selecting a product.  If you are looking for a no-code/low-code platform for your internal app, Appsmith is a very good choice, get the business requirements done and match them against what Appsmit delivered and you have a match.

**What problems is Appsmith solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My use case was to migrate an internal app to measure if we could save money, save time with fewer resources using a low-code/no-code platform.
