This is the real deal. I have used power-apps by Microsoft but I can confidently say that AppSheet is the best low code - no code solution out there. In the fashion of Google, AppSheet was intuitive and interactive and the UI was smooth. I have created at least 3 apps one of them is a directory that is being used by a church. I have zero knowledge about coding and software programing, and I never thought that I would be able to create a functional app, which works smoothly and efficiently throughout all platforms. When I noticed the Appsheet as an addon in Google sheets, I didn't have any idea about it. I think the beauty of Appsheet is the way developers build and present it. Templates, forums, and the app itself very self-explanatory. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out.
