## AppSheet Reviews
  ### 1. Great rapid prototyping and business efficiency app - from a very customer centric team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mike a. | Senior Director - IT, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 01, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Appsheet makes it incredibly fast to spin up a multi-platform app, and then build capabilities from there. You don't have to have everything figured out ahead of time and can keep adding and adapting as your needs change. This can be great just to create rapid prototypes, or fully developed app environments - from UI to workflows. Also, the error checking and performance auditing tools are really robust.

I also need to give a shout out to the appsheet team as they are incredibly user focused, listen intently to customer needs, respond with very high speed, and are constantly evolving the platform. Where else do you find the CEO of the company (Praveen Seshadri) personally engaging with users, helping them to learn the platform and solve application problems, and pro-actively updates the community if service hiccups happen? I wish all companies worked like this.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

For best results, you really need a bit of experience in relational database structures so you can take full advantage of the capabilities. I also find that understanding the relationships between Tables, Slices, Columns, Formulas, and Views can take a bit of time to get used to. Also, the lack of reporting/output creation
tools can be limiting (there is no reporting engine for page layout etc).

There is a trade-off here. To make this "no-code", higher level functionality requires a pretty deep knowledge of formulas, database, and external api's to build a highly functioning app. Not a negative. You can usually accomplish what you want, but may need a few workarounds to accomplish this - and still stay largely "no-code". For simple, spreadsheet driven apps, nothing beats this. For richer more complicated apps, you can still get it done, but much deeper skills/knowledge is needed (such as using google scripts on the back end or webhooks to external services).

For me, nothing has been this simple to get a fully functional app running. But for the more complicated use cases, you may outgrow the no-code platform.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

If your data is table/spreadsheet based, and you don't need robust reporting capabilities, this is an awesome solution.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I typically use Appsheet for rapid prototyping with my business stakholders, to help clarify what the need and figure out how to best solve their problems. I also use the platform to replace typical "spreadsheet" driven processes, to make them truly mobile enabled. Some examples include project portfolio management and key account engagement processes (eg: internal CRM).

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Initially when I fist stated off I was completely at a loss. The user interface as well as the functionality was mind blowing and a bit intimidating. After a week of struggling and about ready to give up they reach out to me with guidance. I then started using the community which was unbelievably willing to help and help fast. A great bunch of people over there in both Appsheet and their users.

I was able to complete a full suite of Apps during my off time in less than a month.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Not much to dislike as of yet. Maybe after a few more months of use I can find a flaw.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to streamline out onboarding for clients which can be daunting to keep up with. It has made the process much easier and "Fun" might I dare to say.

  ### 9. Straightforward and efficient system.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katia S. | Head of R&D , Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

How I can turn a google sheets form in an elegant, well working, user friendly app. It can be used offline, by all our volunteers on the field simultaneously, we find no difficulty in explaining how it works, it is readily installed and employed, I feel that my needs are well met.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

I can't login through my google account when using AppSheet on my phone because Google doesn't recognize the app as secure to login, and thus I can't access my account to edit my app from a mobile device, only from my computer. It would be really necessary to fix this bug because it can be a big problem when working outside of the office. In addition, I find some terms and phrasings on the website difficult to understand, this being a no code app, I imagine the purpose is for non-engineers and people with little experience in the field to be able to make their app and thus it might be good to simplify the wording, in the troubleshooting section as well. In addition, I tried to use AppSheet with google forms last month but for some reason the google forms plugin wasn't working. At the time I tried installing the plugin again, changing the google sheets, log in through different accounts, nothing worked. Because there was some urgency, I wasn't able to fix the problem or to ask for help in time and so I had to give up on using AppSheet. This makes the service unreliable in my eyes and makes me want to look for a provider where I'm absolutely sure it'll work efficiently and quickly, as soon as I need a new app set up. Maybe it would be best to have a path on the AppSheet website where you can upload or link your google form in someway, in case the plugin on google sheets doesn't work. Also, I think the system to build your app directly on the AppSheet website, without using the google forms is really difficult to understand and use for people whose main role isn't coding apps. This means that, for me at least, every time I have a new project I have to rebuild the app from scratch through a google forms, instead of just using the formatted app I already have and just changing its content via a new google form.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

Explore Appsheet and choose carefully the plan that you need, it might be tricky to understand the specifics of each one of them.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am doing a vision screening program for children in schools that gathers good-quality data in a secure and reliable way. My processes have become less time consuming, more organized and AppSheet has allowed me to control tightly and almost in real-time what is happening on the field. It is truly very valuable to me and I am thankful for the good servie AppSheet provides.

I am a programmer and sometimes which I could write my own routines, but I must say that I am thoroughly pleased with using Appsheet for my tasks. ### 30. AppSheet provides outstanding opportunities for educators

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirk M. | Associate Professor, Research, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2018

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

AppSheet's integration with Google Sheets and, by extension, Google Forms, Google App Script, and other products that work with Google Sheets provide users with an extremely rich and powerful array of possibilities to choose from. In addition, I've been amazed at the quality of support I've gotten, even though I'm on the free plan. I've posed many questions on the user forum that have been answered directly by the CEO himself. This help has been invaluable to me in my development of a flashcard app that I have me students using: https://www.appsheet.com/portfolio/230844

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

AppSheet is continuing to grow and develop. It is much more powerful now than when I began using it a year ago. There are several capabilities (better integration with mp3 files, etc.) that I'm still waiting for. On the other hand, I expect such issues to be resolved little by little. Also I would like to see sync times improved and background syncing on iOS devices.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

If you want to develop an app for students and then take advantage of Google Sheets sharing capabilities (which, in my case, allow me to follow my students' progress), then I think AppSheet is the best platform you can find.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've used AppSheet to with Google Forms to get real time input (questions and comments, mini survey results, etc.) from students listening to my lectures, and then display these results on my computer screen in a way that is far superior to what I could do with Google Sheets alone. Students have responded very positively. Moreover, I've been able to do this on App Sheets free plan. Paid plans open other possibilities but AppSheet can be quit useful to individuals who use it for free as well.

Support for errors. However the support community is growing. I feel the documentation can be improved to show actual examples and a better cross-reference section. Expressions would be better if it used real values to explain expression options.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

Free to start and easy to use. Start with your own excel sheet or use and manipulate a sample app data.Remember if you put garbage in, you will get garbage out. Proper planning, prevents poor performance. Once you are committed to your data and references, it is very difficult to manipulate and change order without getting errors. Easy app to use and learn.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Appsheet provides a one-stop shop for my property management. I have access to vendors, tenants, owners, inspections, and can take new inspections and photos with inspections. I also created a girl scout cookie app to help keep track of who orders what and who owes what while workflow allows emailing of orders and payments.

  ### 33. Does exactly what I need it to do.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

I can build apps to suit the specific needs of my business. The two greatest benefits are
1) The apps look great and work very well for the people using them in the field.
2) Since the data in the apps is stored in Google Sheets, it's very easy to create whatever custom reports I want.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

I honestly don't have anything that immediately comes to mind. Every once in a while something comes up that I can't do, but these are always really specific and quite minor things.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use AppSheet apps to manage:
- Safety documentation
- Payroll and labour statistics
- Daily jobsite reports
- Equipment utilization and fuel statistics
- Fleet management / repair and maintenance programs.

This is all very important stuff to keep track of and manage. Without AppSheet we would have had to hire 1-2 additional full time employees to manage this information.

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Appsheet has proven to be an amazing platform to generate custom made tools, easily and with great quality of end product. For every Excel user will be very easy to adopt it (and if you are not excel user don worry, its really really friendly).

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Perhaps the fact i need to predownload another app...but not really an issue.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im generating an app to retrieve geolocated data from the market. Additionally all the data gathered has been linked with MS Power BI dashboard, making in a few days a really pro development with less money than the needed to buy a lunch at Mc Donalds...

  ### 35. Simple System with Great Up-time and Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Boone D. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Flexibility in building custom systems accessible on any device. Light years ahead of building systems in Excel! Being able to connect the system to Google sheets for a database, makes things really easy.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Some minute details of the build were not immediately clear in the instructions, took some digging to find.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

Consider if your team has the time to invest in creating a custom application. Appsheet is great, and will get you where you need to be with enough time invested, but be sure there's not already a commercially available application on the market that suites your needs.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Created an inventory app for giving remote workers access in real-time. Reduced expenses by selling more odd inventory internally.

  ### 36. perfect software to impress your managers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gabriel M. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Ease of implementation; quick development, from idea to roll-out in a day. Easy to use management console, good security and audit functions. Workflows easy to set up and test. Mostly I am impressed with the amount of work AppSheet team puts into this platform, it is constantly listening to its' users and improving . We currently have 10 apps in use, one with 185 users, the rest have 30 to 80 users. They are easy to manage and improved the workflow of information in our business.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

I didn't find many flaws with AppSheet, mostly around the editing interface. For example adding columns would mess up the order of columns in the slice. Annoying but easy to sort. Most of these functionality issues are/were already addressed, there are updates and improvements almost daily.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

We use Google Sheets as a backend. For non-business critical apps it has proved to be very reliable. As long as you are aware of GSheets limitations- maximum number of cells, formulas, concurrent users - it can be a very cost-effective solution.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have 250+ mobile workers, and while we have software solutions to send the work details, we didn't have anything for the back office processes. Annual leave requests, overtime claims, fleet management, assets, were all managed via paper forms. Now we moved all these processes to mobile apps and mobile colleagues are happy they don't have to drive into the office to chase a signature on a form.

provides a no-code application development platform that allows users to create mobile, tablet, and web applications using data sources like Google Drive, DropBox, Office 365, and other cloud-based database and spreadsheet platforms. The platform can be used for a wide range of business use cases, including project management, customer relationship management, field inspections, and custom reports.

  ### 38. Appsheet most useful

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Program Development | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2020

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Creating appsheets is intuitive and simple to use, with automated configuration of apps from data.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

The structure is restrictive as it require a specific layout, e.g. sheet to be configured with headings on top sheet and data in lines below.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Project and business process control, project management and financial reporting

  ### 39. Game Changing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Breanne H. | Operations Project Administrator, Construction, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

This platform is usable by anyone who can work with spreadsheets and understands formulas. It allowed our company to minimize the use of paper in multiple areas, and also allowed us to create immediate notifications to address issues in a timely manner. No more information falling through the cracks.
I like that you can set up workflows and actions to manipulate the data within the app, and that you can now include charts to depict information at a glance.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

I dislike that I can't add attachments to workflows in any format, but that they need to be in pdf. I'd also like to be able to customize charts more, similar to pivot charts.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

Start with what you want, and use the community and YouTube videos to find out how to do it. In my experience, someone else has found out a way, or you can combine multiple people's ideas to fit your needs.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to streamline internal reporting, and communication with customers to let them know what we are doing on their properties. This puts us above the average in both areas and allows the company to focus on improvements outside of these administrative tasks.

Ease of use of the programming panel.
Continuous update of the programming panel.
Quick response to questions from online team.
Program Coding is uncomplicated and easy to use.
There is good coverage of support on social media and internet.
I can create Apps using my mobile phone.
The App creates 2-4 displays to simplify showing contents to the end user

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

After programming, the end user cannot display Arabic text properly. (support team promised to solve the issue)
Need printing option direct from AppSheet.
Choice of colors inside App are limited for the programmer.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

I strongly encourage them to try it and give it a chance

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Continuous monitoring of progress and analysis
Ease of access to to stored data through searching.
creating work groups and automatically emailing them when storing or modifying data.
Enabled us to daily chores much quicker.
Drastically reduced use of paper and printing, and depending on the phones and PC for data entry and query.
End users are able to see changes made by other users.
There many other benefits that I cannot mention all of them.
I had many files for ISO 9001 2015 and many files / documents employees. It was very difficult to share ISO requirements on daily basis. I was Able to do that using one App from Appsheet.

  ### 41. Spectacular and getting even better all the time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel T. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

What I like about AppSheet best is that it is very rewarding to learners because you are developing in real-time and often you can start with a template that most likely is doing something close to what you want already.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

It would be fantastic if there was a better way to back-up and document the settings of your Apps.
You will spend countless hours resetting columns if you are someone that intends to add new features often.
Setting are often lost when regenerating (rereading tables) after table updates.
Also, when you are building your App elsewhere for a client perhaps it's nice to just have a doc of your settings to work from.

Also, I am not a fan of the way the new user interface is jumpy, and stalls (is temporarily non-responding when scrolling) because it takes forever to finish loading each frame when your trying to scroll!! (If I jump from a bridge this will be the cause.)

AND... I wish I could see more column data on my screen without having to scroll the interior scrolling window so often (scrolling through large tables for settings is exhausting!) All these new scroll bars were a good idea in theory but load horribly even on powerful systems.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

As a small company that can't afford like anything...cost and capabilities! We really appreciate that in a day in age where everyone wants a subscription for everything. The everyday user of Appsheet can learn and have access to the power of Appsheet without spending money.

Appsheet allows small projects enjoyed learning the Appsheet platform and it was very rewarding.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have come to realize that through time, technologies begin to stack and work with one another, Appsheet is nothing short of the most cutting edge technology that evolution has brought us too.

It is literally for everyone and anyone can learn to at least use the basic features of it to enhance it's life.

  ### 42. Excellent application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mariano B. | Auxiliar Administrativo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Today, the use of spreadsheets is essential in any company, no matter how small. AppSheet allows any internal user of the company to quickly transform that data into mobile applications, and if you also have knowledge of Excel formulas, for example, you can create incredible and very advanced things that any external developer would take a long time to do and would be very costly. I recommend using it with Google Sheets, everything updates in the cloud. Incredible!

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

What I sometimes don't like is that it takes time to perform calculations in the spreadsheets; it might be faster using the application's formulas. Also, it should already allow for Progressive Web Application development.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

To any user who uses spreadsheets, I recommend trying AppSheet, as it allows them to centralize all the data and have it available for manipulation on all the phones they want. And if they also have knowledge of Excel formulas, even more so. They will be able to do incredible things.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Appsheet allows you to have centralized information. Otherwise, you would have to update different spreadsheets on different computers, for example. Even though you can now edit in the cloud, we know they are not convenient to use from a mobile phone. Appsheet replaces that.

  ### 43. Smart & Unique

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

build with no coding & reasonable price was the main challenge I have faced, but with Appsheet it becomes easy to deploy any application and brand it with my name as well with. a decent amount of money and less time spending on building the app. the main advantage, no need for any third-party to control my ship.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

I rarely had issues to dislike it with appsheet, i used multiple applications and it was the best one among other database software.
but sometimes applying a new formula or feature, will take longer than expected. Youtube videos sometimes don't show the whole steps. have to try multiple time to get through.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

if you're looking for an easy no-coding software with a decent pricing and features, please go ahead and build your application with AppSheet and get your White-Label App (branded for you)

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Providing quick, accurate information and integrate different systems with App sheet.
analyzing data with a dynamic interface, applying formulas & user restrictions on each module is an easy step to perform

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

My favorite part about AppSheet is its intuitive design and workflows for automation. Really makes ditching spreadsheet entry a no-brainer.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Would love to be able to import svg icons for the thumb menu and action buttons.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

As a designer I recommend the show if field, CONTEXT() expression and Dashboards.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our company QREW solves an array of other businesses' problems using AppSheet apps. So really anything from our internal goals and weekly to-dos to corporate inventory and CRMs.

**Reviewed by:** Jose D. | COO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Appsheet is a simple, flexible and fast way to develop apps

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Enterprise pricing seems steep. We ended up developing an app in house to use across the enterprise rather than paying the yearly price for enterprise license.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data collection in the field

  ### 46. An easy and fast approach to your needs!!!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Commercial HVAC Service Tech, Construction, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 17, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

This is a very versatile web application that allows you to create simple and some complex apps within minutes. I work in Commercial HVAC commissioning new equipment. Being able to create an app in order to seamlessly provide a solution for multiple techs to input data without having to delve into coding was a huge relief. I had been wanting to create this for a long time, and now I don't have to wait until I gather years of experience in coding.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Despite its definite ease of use, there are definitely times in which some things don't make sense right away, specially if you watch a YouTube tutorial that was made on a different version of the software.

I'm not sure if AppSheet has one already, but perhaps a forum in which one can post an intended problem domain and AppSheet can contribute some of the challenges they'd meet.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am removing the bulkiness of paperwork that often gets lost during commercial HVAC commissioning and maintenance by creating an app that localizes the information on the field.

**Official Response from Eddie Wang:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback, David! We just migrated our community from Google+ to forum.appsheet.com

We are also in the midst of overhauling our YouTube tutorials. We hope to have these videos live within a few weeks!

  ### 47. I've been creating apps with AppSheet for almost a year. I am very happy with it.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Owner/Founder, Mental Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Integrates with Google/G Suite - necessary for our use case as we are required to comply with hipaa guidelines, and google is the least expensive cloud service I have found that achieves that, and includes the BAA. It is very flexible; I have been able to integrate a variety of systems within this service, and it has addressed nearly all of my needs so far, including custom apps for billing, high frequency clinical data collection, and client/contractor database. The AppSheet developers are constantly making improvements and are super responsive to their users. I have received a ton of great help and advice throughout my app-making journey.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Here's the thing, folks. Unless you have IT/Development/database management experience, or some familiarity with these, expect to put in some hours. Potentially a lot. If your like me, and have fallen into IT/data management as a punishment for your competence but have little to no training, be warned: there is a learning curve. I honestly believe there is nothing this program can't accomplish as it regards data management, but the more sophisticated your needs, the more you are going to have to learn. No-code doesn't necessarily mean no effort. It just means that something that may have previously been beyond your ability to achieve (custom app development) is now possible. And that is really exciting, especially for small business owners like myself. Suddenly you are able to hold your own against big corps. But yeah, it's taken me a year of working with this program to really confident and comfortable with it. But it has been entirely worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

Take your time to learn the process if you are not familiar with this world. It pays off.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration, mobile data collection and centralized storage. Security.

  ### 48. No Code / Low Code solution for so much

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim F. | Director, Management Consulting, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

Ability to create distinct view types, and structured mobile access to data

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

It is thankless to complain about such an outrageously cool service, but I find it can be hard to track down errors. Like, if I am making an app on a free account, that means -- necessarily -- that I don't want any functions unavailable at that level. I shouldn't have to track those down and turn them off.

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tons of benefits. I've improved my communications with my family on shopping and chores, I've given myself the ability to better manage my time and priorities at work, and I've helped multiple families track the driving experience of their children. Applications are endless.

  ### 49. Google Form to Mobile APP with No code

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

7. Use of more than one sheet to fetch data from
8. Works smoothly with iOS as well .
9. Excellent email support to app sheet users
10. Sharing of app with other collaborators

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

More case studies (sample mobile app) can help understand features more.
Workflow rules are bit difficult to understand and implement .
Errors shown during deployment takes longer time to understand and locate it in the menus. debugging time increases .
Charts -> Different colors for different catagories (levels) in the same chart is missing .

No code required ... can focus on business data more than depending on tech assitance
very Low cost of deployment

  ### 50. Very intuitive and streamlined app creation.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stefan S. | Research scientist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2019

**What do you like best about AppSheet?**

I like the no-code approach to create a professional looking app and the easy management of external data (e.g. GSheet) . Important for me is also the offline use, geocoding with map integration, integration of QR code scanning, and image capture functionality. A big plus is that the data live in the cloud, and also that the app is cross plattform , and that the mobile app resides in Appsheet and not a separate app, thus circumventing the app store / play store.

**What do you dislike about AppSheet?**

Can get expensive with many users when paying on a per user base, in particular if the amount of users varies.

**Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:**

The tutorials and webinars are most helpful for learning how to use Appsheet. The online help with examples is also most helpful, and the Q&A provide solutions for specific problems. It helped a lot to be able to try out Appsheet and all its functionalities before purchasing it. Appsheet is actively developed and new features are added on a regular basis. The learning curve for creating new apps is relatively low, but there is a lot under the hood and it is possible to develop complex apps that meet even the most demanding requirements

**What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed an easy to use mobile app to record date and locality data in the field, and an app that allows me to have full control over the app and the data without being a programmer. Have been trying to use ODK and if you know it then you know what I mean.
