Eventually the way that Appsheet works in conjunction with your spreadsheet will become apparent. Excellent platform for Google Workspace customers who have data in Google Drive or GCP. **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am utilizing AppSheet for internal needs as well as for customer needs. Mostly for applications who are dedicated on Google Workspace. Some apps have workflow process across multiple platforms (e.g. Salesforce & AppSheet). ### 39. It's a great tool for distributed data sharing and updating via a phone or desktop app. **Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:** Read the documentation and make sure you think about designing your data properly before you start. If you don't know how to design data, talk to someone who does. It is very easy to deploy the application on any IOS or Android device. It is possible to connect any type of program with synchronized data such as Google Calendar and it is also possible the integrations with programs such as Microsoft Excel. Appsheet has a free version, with some limitations but still very useful for beginners **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** The barcode scanner has been useful in our work but it has had its inefficiencies, in some occasions it has not been possible to recognize the codes. The ability to use the Appsheet application is different depending on the device you enter, where it should be practically the same for each of them **Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:** There is very little to recommend for Appsheet. The camera used for the forms may have more options, but at the moment that ability is very simple. They can correct the small errors of the barcode scanner **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** For our team it has been effective the program to create apps of any kind, without having advanced knowledge about it. Very flexible and very quick to scale up. From what I've seen regarding the testing it shows great promise. **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** The tutorials aren't in a course set-up but after purchasing the two classes on Udemy getting to the basics wasn't too difficult. **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** First hand data collection is a must. Lots of data source options available, with great Google integrations which will only get stronger presumably, now Appsheet is a Google owned company. Fun to use! **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** UX options are slightly limited but these are improving gradually. **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Appsheet to run the logistics for our Ski Touring and Mountaineering holiday company (Alpine Guides Ltd). Our app is mainly used on desktop and manages various aspects of the business that are not handled by our booking/payment system and accounting software. These aspects were previously managed via a series of connected spreadsheets which were very tedious to use and so we were always on the lookout for a better way, without spending tens of thousands on a bespoke/inflexible system. Appsheet has helped us accomplish this and handles everything else including accommodation bookings (mountain huts and hotels across the Alps and all the other locations we guide in), IFMGA guide/other supplier bookings/contracts and payments, and client communications/joining instructions. During Covid our business has been taking a short break until normal travel can resume - whenever that may be...! In the downtime I have used Appsheet to help some other local UK companies to manage their workflow, invoicing and client communications to help kickstart their own business recovery after lockdown. These include workshop management and customer order/warranty tracking for a ski shop, job management and customer communications for an electrical contractor, and contract/site management for a large local Arborist (tree surgery) company. Appsheet is fantastic in its versatility, and seems to be getting better month by month, with a very active and supportive developer team. ### 48.
