I've created applications several times because they want another version or because the file got damaged and can't connect. But since I already know how it should be created, it's very easy. **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** I don't like that when there is a lot of data, like querying users in a total of 200,000, it takes a long time, the data connection and reconnection in the field is not very clear. **Recommendations to others considering AppSheet:** Appsheet is a great platform, with a little training and interest, you will be able to create very valuable applications for your organization. If you hire development with external or internal IT staff, you save a lot, so much that you can continue improving it since we all know that software is like a plant that needs to be watered every day. I have used power-apps by Microsoft but I can confidently say that AppSheet is the best low code - no code solution out there. In the fashion of Google, AppSheet was intuitive and interactive and the UI was smooth. I have created at least 3 apps one of them is a directory that is being used by a church. Good app for a good low code solution **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** It is a bit too pricey. I wish google can make it very affordable **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have now brought the directory and biodata of members of a church in their mobile phones. The benefit I have realized is that there will be no need to keep printing paper directories and with each update, print a new paper directory. Update can happen at least 12 times in a month. When I noticed the Appsheet as an addon in Google sheets, I didn't have any idea about it. I think the beauty of Appsheet is the way developers build and present it. Templates, forums, and the app itself very self-explanatory. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to figure it out. It took me only a few hours to understand and built my first app. **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** Honestly, I can not think of any negatives about Appsheet. **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** At work, I use it for visualizing and presenting data. It helps me convert data into beautifully designed multi-layered graphics in seconds. I also use it for building apps for personal usage. My favorite one is an IsiXhosa dictionary. Responsiveness is excellent for desktop and mobile devices, without any coding necessary. **What do you dislike about AppSheet?** Bots and workflows are terrible. They are strongly tied to a single table or slice; therefore, something as basic as a scheduled event depends on one particular table or view and must loop through all the records repeating the processes and tasks for each record. There is no good way to decouple the time scheduled event from a particular table or view and its records. Because the data is not stored close to the server application, the app speed is less than optimal. Repeated syncing is necessary. Syncing is slow and sometimes becomes unresponsive. Charts need a lot of improvement as they do not offer standard drill-down functionality and filtering. Each chart is tied to one specific table or view; therefore, the dashboard functionality is cumbersome to configure. I've had to move the Bot functionality out of the app, configuring it with our enterprise tooling (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate). I've also had to develop separate dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to provide robust reporting functionality. Tech Support is typical Google style: do it yourself; search the community help; figure it out. I've contacted them for the bot limitations I've encountered, and I end up in an endless asynchronous chat with people in India over weeks. The current case I'm working on with them has been going on for over two weeks, and we are getting nowhere. **What problems is AppSheet solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a good tool for rapid prototyping. I've developed tools for order management, order dispatch, and inventory management thus far. ### 49.
