They provide a cost effective route to ensure automation & syncronisation across various software platforms. While the initial phase of the project presented some challenges and took longer than anticipated to gain momentum, the experience significantly improved when we were assigned our new Senior Onboarding Consultant, Ratnadeep. Ratnadeep's expertise, dedication, and responsiveness made a remarkable difference during the UAT and post-go-live phases. He consistently provided timely and effective support, addressing all our questions and concerns with patience and professionalism. His troubleshooting skills were invaluable in resolving issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations. Despite the complexities of the integration and the volume of troubleshooting required post-implementation, the APPSeConnect team remained committed, reliable, and efficient. The cloud-based platform itself is fairly easy to use and understand once it is built and configured, providing a user-friendly interface that streamlines business processes. Advisable to sit in a dedicated meeting room, with only relevant team. Mapping exercise undertaken was good, but it would have been good, if whole work flow/flow chart with all different scenarios were specified or tested before releasing for UAT. Ashish, who handled our project, was an incredible professional. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, dedicated, and a pleasure to work with. In his hands we went from feeling intimidated by the integration, to feeling confident in it. The software works as we need it to, most importantly. We went live a month ago and everything has performed as expected, with no major issues. We are using it to connect our Microsoft Dynamics Navision ERP system with our new Shopify site, syncing product data, inventory, orders, customers, transactions, etc. Though the pre-built connector APPSeCONNECT had for our ERP was pretty rudimentary, the APPSeCONNECT team was very happy and able to customize the connection to work for us. Initial startup of the project dragged a bit, and it was hard to understand what was needed for things to get moving. In the first few weeks communication was slow, and a bit incomplete. Once we started work in earnest communication improved completely. The email notifications from the AeC platform aren’t very helpful, as you can’t click into them to identify the cause of any errors. What do you dislike about APPSeCONNECT? If I had to name one downside or drawback it would be with the utility portal itself... I find it funky that once I log in I then need to remove the onboarding portion of the URL from theaddress bar and refresh the browser to get past the "setup" connection of the portal. What problems is APPSeCONNECT solving and how is that benefiting you? It solves a connection gap that existed between our ERP (NAV2015 on prem) and our website hosted with SHOPIFY. It is nice the orders can come over to NAV automatically from Shopify. There is no need for manual entry of the order from the website to our ERP. We have set automatic flow processes to handle all sorts of communications through the day between our ERP and Shopify. Order movement, Inventory and Price updates, as well as fulfillment updates all lessen the pains that would be experienced had these not been integrated automatically.
