The compatibility with Google App Engine is a big plus. Not only the demos are compatible but also the documentation is better.
It's a simple, the interface is clean and easy to use. I deployed my Java Application easily. Comparing with similar solutions, such as OpenShift and Cloud Foundry, AppScale was the easiest to setup and deploy.
The platform is growing fast! Comparing with last year, the number of features increased a lot and the platform became reliable.
