We used to take changes over the phone and then relay the changes to our design team. This really slowed down our time to production because of missed emails, or miscommunication between sales and the design team. Now our customers receive a proof online, drop a dot or highlight what they want changed, then it goes straight back to the designer to make the correction and release a new proof.
