The setup process was straightforward, supported by helpful videos, and the platform's design resonates well with tools I'm familiar with, like Canva, providing a comfortable user experience. I particularly like the list view, which allows me to see all projects at a glance, supporting my visual preference. It significantly reduces the back-and-forth communication, like emails or Slack messages, by providing clear visual feedback on design changes. Furthermore, the notification system is useful for time management, ensuring I'm promptly informed about changes. I'm considering automating task transfers from ClickUp, demonstrating the potential to enhance my existing workflow. I find that Approval Studio could benefit from more specific views for tracking approval statuses, such as whether a project is pending internal or external review, it does show status as review. It would help me see where bottlenecks occur, whether with us or the clients. My favorite feature is the comparison tool. When multiple pieces of artwork are loaded up, the tool allows for a side-by-side comparison that automatically scrolls across when dragged by the mouse. You can also use to tool to "compare" two pieces of art. Using the compare feature, the two pieces are artwork are compared and differences between them are depicted in red on the right-hand side. Another great option here is the toggle feature that quickly lays one piece of artwork over another and rapidly displays one then the other so you can visually see how the changes look in a rapid, almost snapshot. It's great for picking out subtle differences. I also really like the report option which allows the user to download a report of all the annotations made throughout the whole project and save it as a PDF. For our team, it's a great way to provide a simple audit trail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Approval Studio? The annotation tool is lacking in options and clunky to use. If numerous annotations appear made on a piece of artwork, they literally just clutter up the screen and get in the way of seeing the artwork. The software needs an option to make a comment and have it appear in the margin of the page and allow for continuous work without blocking the field. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Approval Studio solving and how is that benefiting you? Our organization rapidly changes artwork that goes on food packaging. Minor differences and errors by the graphics team can be costly and dangerous.
