AppMySite makes it very easy to turn a website into a native mobile app for both Android and iOS. It literally takes avbout 10 minutes to create a new app with support for push notifications, ad display, and ecommerce functionality.

App customization has also been greatly improved and now web views can be customized in many ways including hiding headers and forcing zoom levels. You can also choose colors, typography (although with limited options) and icons for each view.

App performance is not the best. Since each view is a web view it might be a bit slow depending on your hosting setup. Also caching is used sparingly so navigating between views take some time upon launching the app.

You cannot build custom views or sections inside AppMySite: each view should be a page of your website (or if you use WordPress or WooCommerce you can use some predefined sections). We have a stack of plugins we use with all our clients to comply with country regulations, but AppMySite does not support these plugins and their dev team has been unwilling to pronounce on this matter and thus render useless the Apps for e-commerce in the way we work. I understand that there are thousands of woocommerce plugins, and it would be tough to fit all the needs, but some functionalities are core (like having dropdown cities and states for end-buyers to choose during checkout). The other one we couldn't use is a Combo Offer plugin, it shows the product as $0, and these are usually the best selling items, and since these can't be hidden, we can't publish apps with $0 priced products because people can get them for free!
