I could understand if the ideas were things that actually cost money to make available to us, like if there were incurring an actual cost... In our discovery process, we discovered "AppMySite." We were able to successfully convert specific pages from our website into an app and get launched in less than 90 days. The process to convert the app is easy! Our company was extremely happy with the results, delivery, and value of the service. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** Some of the features that were built into our website seemed to be unavailable. This however was no fault of the "AppMySite" platform. Our team is still working on deploying the app properly so that it operates with the feel of an "App" and not a website. **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We were able to convert our website into an app successfully. The app worked seamlessly on the phone and the process for deployment was quick and easy. We were able to select which pages should be visible and hidden on the app, which was a huge benefit over other platforms. AppMySite was also very cost effective for the value. ### 38. If you are a WordPress user, this is the easiest and most economical tool for turning your site into an app. With a little patience and some tech-savviness, it can save you thousands of dollars. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** "Easiest" is a relative term. Creating the app from your site using AppMySite is challenging but certainly doable. The documentation is good and the tech support team is responsive. If you've ever tried to use a new software tool without decent support, you know how painful it can be. I was pleased with the support I received during the app creation process. The most frustrating step is uploading the app to the Apple App Store. Publishing the app on Google Play is significantly easier and much less expensive. I'm still fighting with the Apple upload. What you don't find out until after you've committed (both emotionally and financially) is that you need a Mac to publish the app in the App Store. If you don't have access to a Mac, you may want to pay someone to do the publishing for you. **Recommendations to others considering AppMySite:** If you plan on creating your own app for use with iPhones, you'll need a Mac (or at least access to one). The Apple App Store is difficult to navigate. Be mentally prepared or be prepared to pay someone else to do it for you. **What problems is AppMySite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Creating an app for my NFP will hopefully make it easier for our constituents to find us and ultimately keep us top of mind. I won't realize the benefits until I can get the app published on the App Store. ### 39. You have a lot of control over the way you want to brand the app as well. It can make your business truly stand out by creating a presence that very few businesses at the small to mid-size level have with a true iOS and Android app. You seriously need NO CODING One of the best business decisions we have made. **What do you dislike about AppMySite?** I do not like how if you change the app icon and/or the app intial load screen it is considered a brand new app that would need to be resubmitted for approval within the iOS ecosystem. Also, I do not like how the preview only allows for the Android version. Although there are little subtle differences, as an iPhone user, I would like to preview the app in iOS. **Recommendations to others considering AppMySite:** If you are looking to create a high-quality mid-level app both in functionality and design AppMySite is an excellent choice worth exploring.
