"Embedded iPaaS with lots of features"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

The user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. The development documentation is well-done, covering all the essential topics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

The ability to change variables in data mapping is confusing, and the testing feature doesn't appear to function properly, even if the underlying functionality works. It would be beneficial to have additional examples demonstrating the custom development of connectors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic team and cool product"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

I evaluated Appmixer for one of the projects I consulted on.

We appreciated the flexibility of the solution (out-of-the-box feature set or full customization).

I like the vision of democratizing integration and automation features and giving any tech startup access to intuitive no-code tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

The project had a very limited budget at the time, so we would have appreciated a lower price but nothing shocking compared to the existing alternatives we identified in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the only true embeddable iPaaS products, highly recommend"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

One of the standout features of Appmixer is its exceptional embeddability. Unlike many other solutions that rely on iFrame-based embedding, Appmixer goes beyond those limitations. This was particularly beneficial for our use case, where we needed to embed something within a cutting-edge security solution. iFrames presented several challenges, but with Appmixer's SDK, we experienced seamless and hassle-free embedding right from the start. This also allowed us to explore a variety of different UX solutions without being limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

One aspect that we found less favorable about Appmixer was its pricing model for early stage development. In comparison to several other players in the market that offer free or open tiers, Appmixer's pricing structure made our evaluation of alternative solutions more straightforward. It is worth noting that this is partly attributed to our internal challenges with technology assessments. However, I firmly believe that having a very low-cost, even for a basic tiered plan, could have facilitated greater early-stage experimentation with Appmixer. Such an approach might have encouraged more of our engineering team to explore its capabilities before the evaluation process.

I understand they have now started offering a startup tier which is a great step forward but if possible they should explore opening it to more freelance users for exposure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast and affordable way to deploy integrations for an MVP"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

Appmixer helped me deploy native integrations for one of my projects and offered an affordable and easily scalable way to integrate with third-party apps. This gave me the time and energy to focus on other product and business areas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

Initially, I thought the limited library of pre-made connectors would cause problems later on, but I ended up using 10-12 integrations, some of which I was able to quickly create myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Amazing product that helped us automate document processing and analysis"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

Appmixer suited us for several reasons. Firstly, we took advantage of its embedding capabilities and secondly, it is flexible in terms of deployment, which meant we could install Appmixer on our client's infrastructure. Appmixer excels in both of these use cases, plus it offers really advanced automation features (all the connectors we needed, logic, real-time data modification, all within a low-code environment). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

There are small things in the UI that could use improvement, but it gets better with each release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful integration and automation platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

It’s powerful yet simple to adopt for those with coding skills. In my opinion, a solution like this will soon become a ‘must-have’ for most SaaS companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

When building custom connectors, the development process was quite brief. However, what consumed more time was the OAuth review process on the side of some third-party applications. We wish we had been more aware of this or had been advised to anticipate this delay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Appmixer is a great way to easily create and embed different applications and automate workflows"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

Appmixer is an incredibly helpful tool that we use to create custom connectors and streamline and automate complex workflows that are embedded within our SaaS product. It has greatly increased the productivity of our development teams and time to market. One of the primary benefits of Appmixer is the broad range of ways to leverage the platform and frameworks. Appmixer supports everything from simple white-label solutions to deep customizations through their frameworks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

There are other solutions that have larger libraries of pre-built connectors in their platforms. If your needs are very straightforward other solutions might have exactly what you need out of the box. We went down that path initially and ended up needing more flexibility to create our own connectors while still leveraging existing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Integration Product!"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

The SDK design and capabilities. When many companies offer only the connectors that they provide or an SDK that requires knowledge of end-to-end software development, it is a breath of fresh air to be able to build a connector with minimal configuration and basic JavaScript knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

There are some nuances to the mapping and translation that take some getting used to. It requires a knowledge of JSON path and could benefit from a visual designer / mapper as some other products have. That being said the ease to create and deploy new functions or even modules is far more valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful platform that has extended our system with advanced automation features"
5/5
What do you like best about Appmixer?

Our customers request various actions based on notifications from our system. Appmixer helps

us by allowing them to create whatever automation they need, including logic and third-party

apps like Slack or Asana. The biggest advantage for us is the intuitive way to create even

complex workflows and powerful tools like people tasks or logic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appmixer?

Not much, we were able to solve everything we needed with their support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
