The concept is ambitious: a no-code platform that promises full-stack generation with backend, API, and front-end in one place. The idea is appealing, but execution falls far short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about AppMaster.io? The main issue with AppMaster.io is the huge gap between marketing and real product experience. The documentation is outdated and does not match the current interface, which makes learning almost impossible. Most tutorials and videos showcase a platform that looks completely different from what you actually get after signing up. The result is constant frustration and wasted time trying to follow instructions that don’t apply anymore. On top of that, the way the company promotes itself feels misleading. Inside the platform there is a program where users are literally given credits (money to use inside the product) in exchange for leaving positive reviews on sites like G2, Capterra, and Gartner. These are not organic reviews — they are paid for, and only rewarded if you give 5 stars. At the same time, the company claims to have more than 150,000 users, but there are no real comments on their YouTube channel, no independent tutorials, and almost no genuine community presence outside their own site. Their Android app reports 10,000+ downloads on Google Play but has zero reviews, and every update log is generic (“bug fixes and performance improvements”), with no traceable or meaningful product evolution. Overall, it leaves the impression of a polished interface that simulates a revolutionary full-stack no-code platform — but doesn’t actually deliver on that promise. Instead of proving adoption through real user stories and a transparent roadmap, the company seems to rely on aggressive marketing tactics to project authority. AppMaster helps me solve the challenge of building a complete internal system (web and mobile) without needing multiple different tools or heavy custom coding. With one platform I can handle client management, proposals, inventory, support tickets, and reporting in a scalable way. The offline-first mobile apps are especially valuable for field technicians who need to work without a stable internet connection.
