"Effortless Visual Testing with Powerful AI and Seamless Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Applitools?

Applitools‍‌‍‍‌ is a great tool that helps a lot with visual testing by making it very easy, fast, and reliable. The AI-powered comparison engine locates those UI bugs which are very hard to overlook by manual checks or even by traditional automation. What really impresses me is the ease with which it can be integrated into the already existing test frameworks, and also, the dashboard being a clean and intuitive one, makes it very easy to review the differences. The tool is very effective in time-saving, making false positives less frequent, and, generally, it increases the release team's trust ‍‌‍‍‌level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Applitools?

The‍‌‍‍‌ biggest negative point is that the learning curve might seem quite steep initially, particularly if one is setting up advanced configurations or integrating with complex pipelines. There might be situations where the maintenance of tests could take up a lot of time if a large number of visual changes are happening frequently in the UI. The cost may also be a factor limiting the teams of small sizes. The tool, however, functions properly, but the company's speed could be improved during heavy test ‍‌‍‍‌loads. "Efficient Visual Testing with Room for Improvement"

What do you like best about Applitools?

I use Applitools mainly for visual testing, and I love how it helps me quickly spot UI changes after deployments while catching layout issues and verifying screens across different browsers. It saves a lot of time and reduces the need for manual checking. The software's AI-based comparison is very accurate, catching small UI issues without producing a lot of false alarms, which is incredibly valuable to me. I appreciate how Applitools integrates smoothly with Selenium and other automation tools, enhancing my workflow efficiency. The ease of use is another standout feature for me. Additionally, the initial setup process was straightforward and uncomplicated from my perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Applitools?

I find the execution of tests in Applitools to be slow, which can be frustrating. Additionally, the baseline management becomes confusing, especially when multiple team members are updating the baseline. The pricing of Applitools is also a concern, as it seems to be less flexible and may not suit different budget needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Applitools?

What I appreciate most about Applitools is its AI-powered visual testing, which smartly identifies visual bugs and helps minimize false positives. Its autonomous testing features also stand out, as they automate the creation, execution, and maintenance of tests across different platforms. Additionally, Applitools is well-regarded for its Ultrafast Grid, which enables efficient cross-browser and device testing. The platform integrates smoothly with popular frameworks and offers tools that make collaboration and test maintenance more straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Applitools?

So far, my experience with the tool has been generally positive. However, I do have some dislikes regarding Applitools. Its complexity can make it challenging to learn and set up initially. Additionally, the high cost is a concern, as is the requirement to manually create baseline images. The web interface for managing test results feels clunky, and technical support can sometimes be slow to resolve bugs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Applitools?

Sometimes the test execution will fail due to an element not being available, my suggestion is, cant we handle this error with the AI and it automatically handles the error and rectifies it without manual intervention i hope this is in place, but need some more fine-tuning for this feature.
