Applied has made us really think about our recruitment processes to ensure that they are as fair and inclusive as possible. Despite some initial hesitation, our hiring managers have come to enjoy reviewing applications based on sift questions rather than lengthy cover letters. What do you dislike about Applied? The one particular challenge that comes to mind is the time spent thinking about the design of the sift questions. I have found that on one occasion that I looked to duplicate and re-advertise a role, but I wasn't able to start it afresh (which could have been my lack of skill) and so had applicants who had applied before not being able to re-apply due to being screened out previously.
