It takes a lot more steps to perform the same tasks that we were doing in the TAM program. Can't copy and paste policy #'s. Can't find out how long a customer has been with a company. I like that Applied Epic is all-in-one, making it easy to find stuff and keep records correct. It's easy to print the forms needed throughout the insurance industry. I enjoy that it's fast and internet-based, which means I can use it on the go. The Activities, Attachments, and Policy Tabs keep everything easily accessible, making it easier for me to complete work in a timely manner. They help me with accord applications and keep track of renewals so I don't miss any expiration dates. Plus, it's much faster, more convenient, and more tailored to my daily needs compared to Applied TAM. The easier formatting and smoother screen transitions make it flow better than TAM. Also, I think there should be a known loss letter option within the policy feature. The initial setup of Applied Epic was extremely difficult. We had to hire a consultant to do everything for us because it wasn't easy, even though Applied Epic made it seem like it was going to be. I have grown accustomed to activity driven documentation and love how easy it is to utilize to print acords or access policy information. What do you dislike about Applied Epic? It is expensive, but I would argue it is well worth the money. I do not love the massive "paywalls" behind features such as SDK integrations, etc. From a performance perspective, the browser version does tend to freeze up quite often causing workflow delays. I do not know anything about pricing. Support could be improved as I have called about an issue before and then didn't hear back for weeks even after repeated contact for updates. Onboarding was OK at best. The trainers did not know the system and how to use a lot of features as well as they should have. For example, they were unable to teach us how to complete and SOV. We've had to figure out how to use some features on our own. AI could be improved. When you summarize an attachment/email when attaching, it gets it mostly incorrect.
