**Reviewed by:** Melissa C. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Applied Epic’s browser-based interface has been a game-changer for our team. It’s fast, intuitive, and allows for seamless access across devices, which has improved our workflow and flexibility. The new add-ins—especially RENEWAL Insights and Benefits Account Info—are incredibly valuable. These enhancements provide deeper visibility into client data and streamline our ability to deliver personalized service. Epic continues to evolve in ways that support operational efficiency and strategic decision-making.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Reporting can be complex and sometimes requires workarounds to get the insights we need.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epic is assisting us in streamlining and standardizing our operational efficiencies.

 ### 2. Best Agency Management System Around

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristi C. | Insurance Agency Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

It is easy to use. You are able to easily access all client information with just the click of a mouse. Anytime I have a question, all I have to do is go to Applied Community, and chat with someone at Customer Support.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There are some kinks that need to be worked out. Like, when you are adding a COI holder, and you search for the company, sometimes it won't hold your selection, and you have to do it all over again. Some emails will not drag and drop into Epic, which is a total pain if one of those emails is from one of your busiest customers.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving the need for filing cabinets, notebooks, pens, and so much more.

 ### 3. Commercial Lines Training & Audit Specialist

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I like that Applied Epic is user friendly and set up in a way that is easy to to follow and easy to learn. I like the Applied Epic Add-Ins in Outlook and how Microsoft word integrates into Epic Templates. I also love the Attachment Preview in Epic Browser

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I don’t like that you can’t start phone calls and record and transcribe them from Epic. I also wish that if you start an email in Epic that it doesn’t automatically write back to Epic in that it automatically attaches the email without having to open the Attachment To screen and it would be amazing if epic copied the reply as a note or automatically summarized it as a note

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mapping from Indio Acord Apps to the Epic app

 ### 4. Epic is efficient, great for workflow, and reporting

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I work in accounting, and I find that Epic is excellent for managing workflow processes and enhancing efficiency. The reporting features are impressive, allowing you to customize reports to cover any aspect of the business you wish to analyze. There are many opportunities to gain valuable insights into your business with this tool.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There are some great features available at an additional cost/contract that I wish were available as an inclusive value add.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizing policy/client details that’s easily accessible. Financial data processing and commission tracking, as well as reporting options.

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Applied Epic offers a high level of configurability, making it adaptable to nearly any business line or process. The configuration tools allow you to design workflows and customize them to fit your specific business needs. Epic is highly scalable, and the ongoing development of new APIs is opening up fresh opportunities on a regular basis. Continuous investment in developing relevant features further enhances the value for users.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Applied Epic is not the most user-friendly system, but Applied continues to make steady improvements to the overall experience. Additionally, while the project to provide APIs is advancing, it has been ongoing for quite some time.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applied Epic serves as our agency management system for our extensive franchise network, acting as the foundation for our data and operational processes.

 ### 7. Epic has been great for our agency but sometimes enhancements are rolled out before its truly ready.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristin T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I like how user friendly it is. I also appreciate that our feedback is taken into account when we are in need of additional enhancements.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Our tech team is often hesitant on adoption of new enhancements due to "bugs" that remain at time of rollout. I wish the bugs were worked through more so we weren't so excited at convention when rollouts are announced, then our tech team has us wait anyway.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Im very excited for the announcements in the keynote today of ABB, Bridge and additional dashboards.

 ### 8. Effortless Stability with Applied Epic

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa A.

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I love Epic for its ease of use and stability over the six to eight years I have used it. The integration of Applied Pay removes the stress of collecting money from insurance. Additionally, the setup process was very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There was a mention of a process taking 'a little longer' which may imply some dissatisfaction with the speed or efficiency of a particular aspect of the service.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Applied Epic easy to use and stable, with Applied Pay reducing stress related to insurance money collection.

 ### 9. Initially Tough, but Ultimately User-Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rebecca D. | Personal Lines Department Manager

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I find Applied Epic's step-by-step process easy to understand and it ensures every task is completed before moving on, which prevents errors. Working with Traney was incredibly helpful during setup, providing clear instructions. I also appreciate the integration of software like Ivan, which simplifies information downloads. The ease of using the platform makes it highly appealing.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I found it difficult to learn the new steps when setting up Applied Epic.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find the step-by-step process in Applied Epic ensures completeness and accuracy, preventing errors and missed steps.

**Reviewed by:** Crystal F. | HR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

That I can have all my attachments associated with the policy and activities

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Onboarding new employees. Workflows are very cumbersome

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Pr/br commissions. To be able to pull reports and run the payables with success

 ### 11. IT Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Lots of functionality, built in E&O. From an IT helpdesk its very easy to trace who did what in EPIC.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Lots of clicks to do simple tasks - one such example is being able to copy and paste a policy number - you have to click deep into the pol line to do this - this one simple fix to be able to copy a pol number right from the pol screen would save hundreds of hours over the course of a year for every single Applied user across the world!

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We came from TAM, EPIC is much more robust in all areas of the product allowing us to automate some tasks that were not available to us in TAM

 ### 12. New Migration Client

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rae A. | Operations and IT Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I love all features and capabilities that EPIC has. We just went live with them Monday so we are really new with them. Everyone has been so helpful in getting set up and answering questions. I felt very supported during this how migration process.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

So my biggest issue at this point is the order of items in the migration process. I think Downloads, Accounting and Domain info should be touched on sooner in the process incase the agency needs to make corrections or changes.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epic has allowed us to be on a browser based program instead of a remote desktop and it has alot more capabilities in servicing our clients in ways that works for them.

 ### 13. Director of Account Managers

I appreciate that Applied is always attentive to feedback and works to enhance the software, helping to advance our industry. While the process hasn't always been smooth, I feel they have acknowledged these challenges and made significant progress.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Managing it is challenging. It really requires more than just one person to keep up with the configuration, or perhaps even a dedicated department.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have helped me organize my client data more effectively, which in turn makes it easier for me to understand my marketing team.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I wish the the UI was more modern looking and navigation was a bit more intuitive.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applied Epic is one of the few AMS platforms that support the Employee Benefits vertical of our agency. We have been able to digitize our service processes in this vertical due to Applied Epic’s capabilities.

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Being able to utilize Epic to cross communicate with my Service Team and Sales Team has been paramount for our agency.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

At times it can be tedious with reporting, it would be nice to just be able to create reports from scratch, and that may be an unknown to myself as a new user.

EPIC has made our processing simpler and more consistent than our previous AMS. EPIC is easy to configure and manage for our users. We have been able to gain insights into information thru reports.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

EPIC doesn’t audit data quality as well as we would like.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EPIC provides many options for configuring our processes and provides good access for our users to manage their customer accounts. Our users have gone from having desks covered in paper to clear desks and more leisure time.

There is a very steep price that comes with using the best agency system. There are also a lot of updates that occur which can be difficult to keep our staff trained properly.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to have an agency wide consistent workflow. As well as measure where and what needs to be improved.

 ### 20. Great place for networking and joint problems solving of common insurance issues

There’s so much too epic. It takes a while to figure out exactly how you want to use it or need to use it.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration of AI with automatic payments, including payment links has been a great way to speed up collection of monies and increase efficiencies and processing

 ### 21. Epic review 2025

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I like the ease of finding multiple accounts for the one client. How you can add activities and tasks and they auto save. I like the marketing capabilities. I like how Indio provides access to supplemental apps and the ease of adding a new one. The automation of Indio is great. I like CSR 24 Certificates for ease of adding forms and not having to input Cert info wording every time you do a cert. I like CSR 24 for client access.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Configuration is the biggest downfall. Applied does not provide enough training on how to configure your Epic. Training hours are provided but basically you have to try and fail before you find out what you need training on. Very pour at stating how to configure your Epic. When transferring over communication on this topic was terrible. Should have configurations set up as a sample for Small, Medium, Large, single location, multi-location agencies as a guide. If they have this they never mention. Should have classes at their convention geared to agencies that have transitioned after 1yr, 2yr, 3yr. Agents sell insurance, they do not know all the capabilities of Epic and how it can help them. Classes can go from basic to more advanced. Even such items as how to configure sending out birthday emails. Not every agency has an IT/Marketing/Tech dept that knows how to do things. Classes can also be geared toward Account Managers on tips of what can make their processing easier.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication with clients through Marketing automation, CSR 24 and Indio

 ### 22. CSR

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Enhanced dashboards and data visualization: Epic Dashboards provide insightful visualizations of agency data, allowing users to better understand business trends, employee workload, and carrier relationships. These dashboards can be customized to specific user roles and offer direct links to client accounts for quick action.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

A consistent design system and fewer clicks can make navigation easier and more intuitive for users

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The software is very comprehensive and will do virtually anything you need to do for your agency except payroll

 ### 23. Outstanding Product - Everything we needed and more!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debbie D. | Director of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Applied Epic is user-friendly and has all the features we need in an Agency Management System. Set up is very flexible and can be done according to the specific needs of the organization, department, and/or individual. The training library is huge. Those videos are very helpful both for new and existing users and take a lot of the education burden off existing personnel. Context-sensitive help is comprehensive and easy to follow. Activities allow us to add tasks, which are very helpful with new employees and for those not as familiar with insurance. There are multiple ways to file and locate documents, which allows us to set things up in a way that works best for us. Reports are outstanding and although there's a learning curve they provide us with all the information we need, both for service teams and management. Applied Pay is one of our favorite features - we can include a link for electronic payment on our invoices and clients can easily submit payment to us. Our service team uses Epic all day every day and it is essential in helping us provide outstanding customer service to our clients.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Because Epic is so rich in features the initial learning curve can be daunting - however, the Applied team(s) assisting with setup are excellent in determining the entity's needs and getting things done in a way that works for each organization.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of documenting all activity on client accounts and later being able to retrieve that information. This enables us to provide outstanding client service.

 ### 24. Excellent workflow

**Reviewed by:** Suzanne S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I’ve worked on both side of insurance. The client management and accounting. Applied Epic has done a great job making the workflow seamless between both sides. It helps complete work ins timely manner and accurately. I appreciate the integration of applied pay and now the option to finance right when making payment.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

It can be frustrating when actions are locked. While it makes sense, that is frustrating!

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applied pay and financing to make payment more seamless and to the correct account

 ### 25. Best system in the industry!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stella L. | Vice President of Operations, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

This is truly an all-in-one system that simplifies my life in every way. I find it very intuitive to use.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There’s really nothing to complain about, as things are always evolving. Whenever there are any pain points, they tend to be addressed through ongoing innovation.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accounting reconciliation has become much simpler, and entering data into the system is now easier as well. Finding markets is also more straightforward, and Ivan’s download has resolved many of the issues I was facing.

 ### 26. Applied Epic Browser

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vicky B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Epic is a fully functioning operating system that is clearly organized and easy to use.
We appreciate the robust reporting and supporting software add ins
Really enjoying the Browser version for a streamlined experience
Customer support is a big feature
Cross integration to other extensions such as policy works and access24

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Adding new features without fully realizing or utilizing and building on what exists. New is not always the most efficient or what is required

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Coordination between departments and reporting

 ### 27. Boosts Efficiency and Simplifies Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** maria R. | CFO

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I appreciate the more efficient workflow structures that Applied Epic offers, which save our account managers and team significant time in completing tasks. The software's ease of navigation simplifies operations, making it a compelling choice for repurchase. Integration with EasyLink and IPFS is also beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I find the attachments view in the software to be less than ideal.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applied Epic enhances efficiency and workflow structure, reducing time for account managers and the team to complete tasks, thereby increasing productivity.

 ### 28. Epic Browser vs Epic Icon

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kira D. | Commercial Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I absolutely love the fact the browser gives you so many more options that the icon desktop version. The new summary button feature in activities to generate your email for you is a huge timesaver.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I do not like how the icon was super slow, did not have all access like the browser. The icon was outdated.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the feature if you need help the tech team can just jump right into your computer and you can show them exactly the issue and they are able to fix it usually right away. Most other companies make you email the tech team and you have to wait for an answer.

**Reviewed by:** Tabitha T. | P&C Training and Development Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I moved from AMS to Epic in 2020 (5 years ago) and it is much more efficient with marketing and locating documents in history. It does bug me SO MUCH there is not a Refresh button or link on the Activities screen at the account level.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Can be tedious and a lot of steps. Especially with Attachments - renaming them, putting in folders, attach back to activity, etc.
NEED A REFRESH BUTTON ON ACTIVITY SCREEN

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Loving the new AI

I would like the ability to Print documents directly to Epic from our print option screen vs having to print a document to pdf and then drag and drop.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applied solves the issue of having to service multiple customer within multiple locations as if they are all under agency. I am able to pull information from a customer I may not know in order to help the quickly. This makes transactions easy to follow and assisting agents in different states and/or locations.

 ### 32. It’s as much as we make it.

**Reviewed by:** Dan L. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I love how customizable it is, and how it can be customized to our business. The challenge we have is in the amount of time it takes. Better integrations with Microsoft would be the best way to bring the work all together.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Some of the things that feel like they should be easy are not. For example, having the name of the AM in a template email without listing the whole service team.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Record keeping and Activity Tracking.

 ### 33. EPIC is a great system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2024

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

EPIC is very user friendly. Easy to learn and use. Definently covers all the basis has all our company needs to manage our clinets accounts

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There are 2 very serious glitches. The Audit (AUDI) Activity, drag & drop and COVI activity F9 to genate BOTH disappear once the activity is closed. If you close these activitues and then you go to view all activities they are no where to be found. To find the activity you have to go to attachments > Acess > Activities > All Activities the re-open the activity
Its a HUGE inconvience

This still has not been changed - same issues

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Storing all the clinets information and policies

 ### 34. You won’t regret it

Applied Epic has modernized the way we do business. We’ve gone from managing stacks of paperwork to working in a truly digital, organized environment—positioning our agency to scale operations confidently and serve our clients more efficiently

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Report templates are easily overridden..

 ### 35. Management system to facilitate growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

We've been using Epic for 4 years. It has enabled us to grow, as we had outgrown our previous provider.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Epic can be a click-heavy system, but the clicks are what enable the data and processes to allow for more robust information

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This system allows us to follow commissions within the system, which has single-handedly enabled us to bring on more commissionable agents and producers. We are also able to streamline processes using a detailed task approach

 ### 36. Great AMS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Epic has a lot of capabilities for the agency. It works very smoothly for servicing with a lot of information fields. This enables an agency the opportunity to gather the right numbers and details for what the agency is working on.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There are aspects that are clunky and not thought out for the end user. Also, it isn't the smoothest for accounting compared to other AMS.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is providing a source of truth for our agency.

 ### 37. Challenging Setup and Stability Issues, but Strong Workflow Automation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lanette S.

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I appreciate the data integrity and workflow automation provided by Applied Epic.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I find the setup process for Applied Epic extremely difficult. We have also lost proposal templates, and they have been working to restore them for two months. Additionally, I am concerned about the platform's stability and the need to back up all templates, forms, and configuration lists to prevent outages.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Applied Epic supports data integrity and workflow automation, crucial for efficient operations.

 ### 38. A big upgrade, but a big adjustment as well.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dustin V. | Insurance Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

It is a clean interface with good workflow (once you get used to it). The integration of desktop Microsoft Applications made it an easy transition from the older Applied system TAM, which was a remote desktop. Customer Support is very helpful and knowledgeable. Since it is a web-based platform it also makes the work from home process easy, as well. The ACORD application input is much more intuitive as well.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

The transition from the old system (TAM) was not as smooth as they had promised. It included a lot of clean up of old applications and policy screens that still did not transfer to the new system properly. We also had to move the shared drive from the remote desktop to OneDrive. The proposal system is almost non-exsist.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our agency had been on Applied TAM for 27 years and it was time for a move into the 21st century. We wanted a system that could integrate with modern software and insurance carriers' systems for policy downloads. Overall it has made the process of quoting and updating accounts easier. It has also encouraged us to streamline our old accounts.

 ### 39. Very user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cierra K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I love that epic is very detailed, there’s so many sections to add info and be super detailed into a specific section of the account

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I am not a huge fan of applied university. Sometimes I need a specific question but you have to look at a whole course to get your answer

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They don’t have a lot of AI within epic itself but they are releasing a lot of new products right now

 ### 40. A Significant Upgrade from Our Previous Management System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dawn L. | Marketing Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Our agency started using Applied Epic last year, and it has already proven to be a significant upgrade from our previous management system. Its advanced tools have improved our office’s efficiency and service, and we’ve only begun to explore its full potential. We’re excited to see how it continues to streamline our processes, helping us deliver even better coverage and service to our customers!

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I wish some of the reports pulled easier and that all of the criteria was available in a drop down and you did not have to go within the software to pull certian aspects.

Also I wish some of the customer info was displayed with a simple click and it seems that you have to click around for info that was displayed easily on other managmnet sysytems.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not aware of any issues solved however representatives have been helpful when I have had issues the affect my work.

 ### 41. Good BMS with regular improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hugo L. | Vice-président opérations/ Vice president operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I appreciate how Epic continues to improve each year. While it may not be perfect, it is a comprehensive system that manages to address most of our needs.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

The Epic form and Epic quote are slow to improve, particularly when it comes to the French output document.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The automation of adding notes to activities has been very helpful. It streamlines the process and saves time, making it much easier to keep everything organized.

 ### 42. Applied Epic Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christine S. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I feel like Epic has a wide variety of capabilities and especially the reports options to make tracking easier in multiple departments within our agency

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

I feel like some processes in Epic are a lot of steps that can be cut out as well as when trying to search for a client I feel like the search options are very rigid

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epic solves us having a lot of our information in one place

 ### 43. EPIC - New Beginning:-)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nadine M. | Office Administration Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

As a new user, it is truly defining what speed and accuracy is all about. So totally enjoying the usage,

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Just that I am not able to edit a receipt for payment without having to void the initial receipt.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is allowing me to have more control of the system, and how users are using it on a daily basis. The audit mechanism that it has shown me so far, is quite impressive.

 ### 44. 6 months in!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lauren W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

Ability to customize the layouts of reports, invoices & checks. Many reports options. Very responsive support teams.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Lots of clicks. System isn't too friendly day for a wholesaler. Can't journal entry on a client a count.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are only 6 months into Epic so we are still in the midst of the change, but seeing lots of opportunities for automation & customization in various areas that will save lots of admin work.

 ### 45. Effortless Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arelys R. | Insurance Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I have tried many systems in the past and I can tell you that Applied Epic has been the best. All the way to how their system performs to their customer service. They make your everyday work a little easier. Would not want it any other way!

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Integration may be a little difficult at first but like every other learning experience, you get better at it over time.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Applied system makes it easy for us insurance agents to manage and service the accounts. The download into the system has been a gift send from God as it saves us so much time!

 ### 46. Applied Epic Review - Applied net 2025

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kendall B. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

I like how well commercial and personal lines accounts connect. I also like that it is user friendly enough for newer employees to navigate

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Recently, it has been quite slow for people on my team. I do not like that downloads clear out estimated commission. That has become a big issue on my team.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Epic holds all of our client data and policies. This replaced image right when our agency was acquired.

 ### 47. Use it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Leslie B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

If it’s used as it’s designed you can get everything you need to efficiently manage your agency data and provide the best service for your insureds. It’s designed to help protect your E&O all while operating in a best practices manner.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

The Master Marketing Submission when sending out to carriers seems very clunky and hard to convince others to use it.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps keep service personnel mostly using the system in same manner.

 ### 48. No System Is Perfect.....But Applied Epic Is Close!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jodi W. | Training & Development Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

As a user for about six years, we are thrilled with Epic and its functionality. The ease of finding information to service our clients efficiently is what I like best.

Applied constantly looks for ways to improve and welcomes user feedback; this is greatly appreciated.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

There is inconsistency in the formats for dropdowns in certain areas when selecting employees. For example, some are by first name, while others are by last name.

We would also like to see an area in contacts where the customer's Medicare number could be added.

We use level of education for discount purposes and currently enter this into comments. This would be an excellent field to have in contacts too.

I assign lessons to staff and do not like that I cannot remove a lesson that was accidentally set.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The format in which recommendations are submitted. We have logged several recommendations over the past, and we never receive feedback. This change will hopefully help this.

 ### 49. Best Management System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lisa H. | Operations Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

What I like best about Applied Epic is how streamlined it makes managing client accounts and insurance policies. It brings everything together in one place, so I don’t have to jump between different systems. The workflow automation is a huge time-saver, and the reporting features are pretty solid too. It just makes the whole process smoother and more organized, which helps keep things running efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Nothing! We would recommend it to anybody!

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oh, Applied Epic really nails it when it comes to cutting down on time-wasting! It’s solving the whole “too many systems to juggle” problem by putting everything in one place—client info, policies, documents, everything! No more switching back and forth. Plus, the automation is a game-changer. I don’t have to manually track things anymore, which means less chance for error and way less stress. It’s made my workflow so much faster and smoother. Honestly, it’s like having a personal assistant!

 ### 50. This is the perfect program for all of your insurance agent needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dalton D. | Customer Service Representative, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Applied Epic?**

READ!!!

Epic is extremley user friendly and I highly recomend their software to everyone. Applied Epic is my #1 most utilized program as an insurance agent. I use Applied Epic all day, everyday.

The program automatically formats information onto forms that every broker/carrier accepts (and usually require).
It also assists with reminding you of existing client renewals, needs, and many more things. A major thing that agencies have with other programs is ease of implementation. When you have an issue or question, customer support is always available and answeres right away.

When you switch to Applied epic and expierience the ase of integration it brings, you will wish you made the choice sooner. I wish this company created all softwares across the board. This is the only program that claims to be user friendly.. and ACTUALLY IS!

Applied Epic is the #1 insurance progam in the world and is a MUST have software for insurance agencies.

**What do you dislike about Applied Epic?**

Nothing, absolutely zero dislikes when using applied. Everything you need works, and is very easy to use.

**What problems is Applied Epic solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program is able to put all information onto forms we utlized for all of our needs. From quoting, claims, billing, certificates, reminders, you name it.

Everything an insurance agency needs, is under this program. Applied Epic has every form you will need while writing insurance, and also helps automatically complete forms with client information.
