 I enjoy how clear and easy it is to use the system. The pipeline summary makes it easy to see exactly where a candidate is in the recruitment process and allows for coordination between multiple departments and human resources.

**What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?**

I have not yet found something I do not like about the system or a feature that has caused any inconvenience or frustration.

 We are using ApplicantStack to hire on full-time, part-time and seasonal staff for our local municipality.

Allows you to use different statues to be used to keep track of where you are at with each candidate.

Can't change multiple candidates statuses at once.

Have not used any other hiring application so I don't have a comparison.

I like how the job posting can be posted to different job boards rather than having myself put it out to each individual job board.

The layout/look of the overall program seems a bit outdated? The color is kind of dark.

If you are starting a new company and need something simple, this is a good software to begin of with.

Easy to navigate the tabs. I like that candidates who have not completed the application are saved. I like the assessment section.

I dislike having the Address, Zip Code, City, and State as a required field when creating an applicant's profile because some leads do not provide those information in the beginning stage of the hiring process.

Tracking numbers of applicants to measure recruitment. It allows me to see what areas are strong and needs focus/.

Applicant is a great tool. I can print reports this at any given moment when entering last minute meeting's. I can track all my applicant through different stages and can give my quotas at the end of each with the click of on button.

I like how all sources of applicants get funnelled into one easy to search area.  Highlighting potential candidates is easy and makes light of an often very time consuming task.

Would like to see some GUI updates around making the interface easier to sort or save candidates using folders.
Would like to see ability to port a candidate directly to another hiring manager.

Seeking out good quality candidates for hire.  Same as above.

Very slow at times- not sure if on our end or yours

The time spent on on boarding is shortened. The biggest benefit is having all notes in one place and the work flow helps to keep us organized

To be able to send and receive documents through the program. Confirm interviews, and populate the ClearCare program.

Sometimes it takes a while before it moves applicants from the Recruiting to the Onboarding.

Go through a tutorial with their staff. They will walk you through all the steps and show you how easy the program is.

Tracking percentages of phone screens to interviews to hires. Shows us which job listings are most effective.

I like that candidates can apply online and we can easily reference their information.

**What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?**

I don't like that when I print an application, the resume gets distorted and the format is normally not good.  So, you would need to go to a separate part of the page to download the resume separately.

Applicant Tracking and using online applications.   Pulling reports to submit for our EEO-1 and Affirmative Action plan has been very helpful.

The step-by-step process is  user friendly and overall our experience has been a positive one. It's very cost-effective for what you get out of it.

Although there are multiple job boards, there are only 1-2 that produce candidates.

We are able to quickly navigate through candidate applications and resumes without having to visit multiple sites.  It saves time so that we can focus on the day to day tasks.

Applicant stack is a program which has a high ease of use for any basic company ATS needs. From post to hire you can preset automatic emails, forms, postings etc...

So far I have not found anything that is negative about my experience using applicant stack

It is able to sync and cross post in multiple large posting sites and organize all applicants in one area.

I like the system in general - the way you can categorize the applicants, the way you can see everything on one screen just going through the tabs. I like that you can send information from Appstack to our scheduling system to make it a smooth transition

I wish there was a way to be able to transfer more information from appstack to the scheduling system.

The experience has been pretty good thus far.  If I come up with something I'll definitely let you know.

Ease of use and options for job posting and candidate tracking is great. Integration with job portals is efficient.

**What do you dislike about ApplicantStack?**

The locations cap out at 50 and there are no provisions to add more. It will also help to have an intermediary role between  Administrator and Hiring manager and also between Recruiter and Hiring Manager.

Central application for tracking consultants and job posting. Ability to post across job boards.

I can easily review whether the applicant has applied for other positions or can revisit a prior applicant.

Not always easy to print out only selected data.  But I rarely need to do that.

I've been able to give info to,  and receive info from,  other hiring managers ... sometimes being able to hire a candidate who is more qualified fir a different position than they applied for.

I don't have an HR system and this provides me the opportunity to receive applicant resume's.

Wish there was an alert on the web page that showed we received questionnaires back. Instead of having to get an email notification to let you know the prospect finished the questionnaire.

Do the online training to be better quilified to use it.

There are a lot of people who do not reply to emails

Everything is done online and even from their phone.

When reviewing an applicant, if I hit the back button it sends me back to the beginning of the list.  This can be aggravating if looking through a long list.

Very cost effective and user friendly.

Staying better organized and making sure all of the paperwork is complete.
It's beneficial for the employee to complete it online.

The issue you described doesn't sound right to me.  Please contact support so we can help you find a solution.  I do want to point out that most of the time you should be able to choose return to list and it will bring you back to where you left off.   We also have "previous" and "next" buttons to make navigation quite simple.

I like that we can make notes on candidates and that we can see if a candidate has been contacted in the past or has applied to other positions.

I dislike that there arent many reporting capabilities and that it cant "speak" with our current HRIS system.

I like I can track everything from one source and email candidates.  Easy to launch posting to other job boards at no cost.

Not the most user-friendly, wish it was easier to make updates.  Copy and paste for job descriptions doesn't work well, you have to fix the format.  Not easy to figure out how to update job statuses.

We recommend not using the copy & paste directly into the job listing since we want to make sure your jobs look the best across multiple sites and on multiple devices. When you copy from Word (as an example), it adds a bunch of extra formatting. We highly recommend pasting as plain text and using the tools within ApplicantStack to add in the formatting. 

We can assist you on how to change the job status but it should be a simple click of a button.  You should see a green button that includes all of your active status' and a red button for the inactive status'.
