It's simple and easy to use, works well with iPhone. It's fast to use, loads very quickly on my iphone. I don't have a mac so i'm not sure what it is like to use on there. I prefer the appearance of chrome, I don't really dislike anything about safari but I just prefer to use chrome when given the option. I use chrome on my work laptop and on my phone I use safari. So safari has been my go to browser as I have started using it extensively on my iPad. It provides a seamless experience and best feature is the link preview window. I think it is missing one thing that I can get in chrome is the google search optimization, on iPad it opens a desktop search results page which very annoying and too small to read or navigate. I tend to run both Safari and Chrome at the same time. Safari is sometimes noticeably faster than Chrome and Firefox, and it's a very straightforward and easy to use browser. It's a very capable browser for most purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Apple Safari? The biggest downfall of Safari is a lack of extensions. There's still not a proper Pinterest button capability, for example, so there are always extra steps to pin something from a website. In addition, so many web experiences are built for Chrome, so many experiences aren't as robust or don't look as they were intended to on Safari. If I'm doing mockup work for a client, I'll usually go with Chrome because Safari just doesn't provide the same quality and level of dev features and device simulations. Sometimes you have to sacrifice the speed for Chrome, but you have to sacrifice the best experience and features for Safari. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Apple has done phenomenal work to build key features into Safari over the last four or five versions. One significant improvement has been something that Firefox has done for a while, and many others are following suit - security and privacy. They have essentially taken off the blinders that web developers put up that hide things like tracking cookies and data harvesting, to name a few. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Apple Safari? One of the biggest reasons I still use Chrome, even with the data privacy risks, is the ability to have different profiles. I love that I can have separate bookmarks, accounts and passwords, even browsing history tied to a different account.
