"Decent Excel alternative"
What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

It is free with macOS and can deal automatically with Excel, numbers and CSV files Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

It lacks some default Excel functions and it is harder to share with others, so I usually opt for Google Sheets if I don't need the full power of Excel Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple spreadsheet maker with a great user interface"
What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

I like how easy it is to navigate through the program. Everything is intuitive. I can also do anything that you can do with excel or google sheets. Using the math functions are also a lot more intuitive than it is to do in google sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Collaboration is still accessible and possible but only really an option for other people on a mac. Google sheets is still the king for collaboration in spreadsheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

For the Spreadsheet it's very limited tool not good for business. You need to export to XLSX or GoogleSheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apple numbers: a powerful and Intuitive spreadsheet solution"
What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

Apple Numbers is a robust spreadsheet application that seamlessly integrates with the Apple ecosystem, providing users with a powerful tool for creating, editing, and analyzing data. As a part of the iWork suite, Numbers offers a user-friendly interface combined with advanced features that cater to both casual users and professionals alike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

For users accustomed to Microsoft Excel, the transition to Apple Numbers may present a learning curve. The interface and some functionalities differ, which can be frustrating for those who are already proficient in other spreadsheet software. While Numbers supports Microsoft Excel file formats, there can be occasional compatibility issues. Complex Excel features or macros may not translate perfectly, leading to discrepancies when exchanging files with Excel users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a free software that competes very well with Microsoft Excel. It works just the same and you can always export and open excel documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

I guess the lest helpful thing is the templates are dated, but that's not the end of the world. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Works beautifully in Apple ecosystem but the competition is miles ahead"
What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

The integration with Apple's product ecosystem is seamless and very intuitive to use. All major spreadsheet formats are supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Apple Numbers is far behind Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets in terms of features, flexibility, and sheer scale. I can create formulas, conditional formatting, and pivot tables with much ease in Excel and Sheets compared to Apple Numbers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A breath of fresh air away from Excel"
What do you like best about Apple Numbers?

The user interface is so friendly and easy to use. Making spreadsheets look good is difficult in Excel. With Numbers, it is the focus. It has many powerful features, yet it is always easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

Unfortunately, Numbers does not have all the advanced functions of Excel. I have yet to come into an issue personally - it does everything I need! But I have heard from others that it is missing some functionality that they require. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?

It takes a bit of getting used to especially when you have used Excel as your base from early on... the aforesaid is mainly based on the formulas which is written in a diffent sequence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
