**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Very easy to use, muchlike excel, but i think slightly better, it seems to be laid out better, with more functionality. the templates are good, the view options are interesting and help present your work.

There isnt much i dont like to be honest, if i was being super critical i would say chenging the cell sizes can be a bt of a ball ache at times.Other than that its all good.

Enables our business to generate quotes, cutting lists, calenders, profit and loss reports. We can import the data into different packages easily and quickly. We use IOS so its seemless intergration across other IOS software.

It is free and gets the job done. It also gives us a lot of formatting options.

Since it comes free and bundled with the mac, we dont have to pay anything or download anything, there isn't much to complain about.

I just need to run some numbers and make some reports and it more than helps me to achieve what I need for the fraction of the time.

It's simple yet powerful. It offers a high detailing data record keeping which is easy to track and even easier to edit and maintain from anywhere in the world. It's remote access feature lets my team view and edit any part of an important data spreadsheet.

There is nothing as such that i dislike about Apple numbers , perhaps its limited 3rd party integration makes it a bit less worthy as compared to its counterparts .

It solves the problem of maintaining, viewing ,editing and sharing huge amounts of data in a simple way. Having used a couple of more softwares in the same domain i find Apple numbers to have the best sync compatibility like it feels super smooth to share data and it's fun to maintain, track and regulate data on a very regular basis.

I love that the user interface is very much Mac oriented and the performance is great, compared to Excel which is quite clunky on the Mac. I love that there are less features so the app is actually more focused.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Excel is the industry standard, so when working with people outside our organization, there is always a compatibility issue of matching the file formats produced in Numbers with those from Excel.

I use it to analyze large data sets and also to manage our finances and other key metrics within our organization. I'm much more productive to the intuitive user interface and fast performance.

Thing I dislike is compatibility with some other programs but that was expected. Once I figured out how to export correctly it was good for what I needed

Simply put, the fact that Numbers is compatible with all Excel spreadsheets makes this a great alternative to paying a monthly subscription to Microsoft Office.

The product is extremely easy to use...in most cases, easier than Excel. The interface is pleasant, and straightforward.

Primarily, simply not enough other users - it's difficult to commit to a product that is not universally accepted/used.

Great product for personal use. Unless you are working with others that have the same product, it's limited value (in my opinion) when working with others using other products.

I use this for internal applications - generally for things that I will analyze, but not need to share/collaborate with other users. Most of the time, these are one-off applications of the product.

Since it is a free-ware that comes along with the Mac OS, it is handy to use in the absence of MS Excel. Tool usage and implementation is pretty straightforward.

As a Mac user, I find numbers to be a pretty average application. The only good I find in it is that as with all Apple features, with your Apple ID login, there is ease of access from any other device too. Resume where you left off.

In comparison to competitors, it's nowhere close to good with limited tools, hard to use on Windows/Android, and low compatibility with phones and mobile applications.

Good software for Apple users, with a great security system. It's pretty well done in terms of privacy and customer interface. As well as it integrates very well with other apple functions and apps. The syncing feature has to be my best feature of it.

While it does integrate well within apple devices, it has limited functionality with android ones. Thus only if you have an apple device can this be used. Additionally lacks variety of tools that are available in Excel

Convenience since it syncs through your apple ID, as well as it's easily downloadable on my phone. So, I can always make edits to my work regardless of my laptop being with me

Apple numbers is helpful as it works across all apple devices, the handoff feature is great, as I can use my iPhone, switch to my iPad, and then switch to my Mac computer seemlessly

When using numbers on a small screen like my iPhone, it is a bit difficult to select the proper cell and enter in the data as the screen real estate is a bit small and compacted.

Having an alternate spreadsheet application to MS Excel, it also can be deployed remotely using our VPP program enabling us to push app to users on all their devices.

The fact that it is part of the Apple suite of products and that it uses many of the best interface options from the MacOS experience. Plus, it seems to handle imports of Excel spreadsheets reasonably well.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

The fact that it doesn't provide so many options that are great in Excel and Google Sheets that make it simpler to add formulas and reformat cells. Number buries too many of these options in a way that doesn't help the user get to them easily.

Organization of data and calculating values for our research. Crunching numbers on our research findings is a key part of the work we do, so we use Numbers to capture data from survey tools and process the information we gain from our data gathering.

OK, so I'm a Mac using creative and generally allergic to spreadsheets. My heart would sink when presented with an Excel file – or worse – being asked to create one. Until I discovered Numbers – and it had been right under my nose for years!

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Not much to dislike other than some client reluctance to accept native Numbers docs; that said, it's a simple option to save out in other formats.

Benefit 1: It's Apple so I'm totes comfortable in the environment. Benefit 2: It's free with Mac OS and connects across my devices and it just saves me time.

Decades old Excel can't be beaten by Apple. It just doesn't feel like good enough. You always end up installing MS Excel.

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

The best thing is the convenience. It comes with your Apple Mac (mine is a MacBook Pro) and is powerful directly out of the box. It has all of the features that you would expect in a spreadsheet app, and is easy to use. If you have ever used excel, google sheets, or similar, then Numbers is a simple transition.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

With any app you have to get used to some of the unique neuances. Some of the equations are different than other spreadsheets, but you easily adapt to those differences. I have found that anything I could do on excel I can do with numbers.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Numbers to help run my business. From simple things like pricing and expected profit calculations to more complex items like managing inventory, creating CSV files for direct importing, etc. Anything I need to do for my business, Numbers has been able to handle it. I don't use it to keep my financial books, but you could on a small scale if you really wanted to. I do use it for all kinds of financial tracking, customer visit tracking, post tracking, and the like for my online income streams (I have more than one business). I have found it to be every bit as powerful and useful as any other spreadsheet out there.

It is easy to use and understand. It works a lot like excel, so the shift is not that difficult. It is very powerful and has a lot of features that are not available on excel on apple products.

It works best with apple products only. With excel, it is easier to work with other people who do not have apple products. I would like to see some improvement in being able to work with other non-apple users.

If you list down the benefits the first thing you will say is that the best thing is that it comes built in, which saves quite a hassle if you are a user who just want to update minor things in the sheet, you don't have to download any 3rd party software. It is also easy to use with very easy features. Can export files in multiple formats and is good to go for basic users.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

As I mentioned in the title, Apple numbers is only useful for people who are beginners, When you come to advanced sheets, Apple numbers won't work efficiently and you have to opt for Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Another issue is that the format it creates isn't so friendly that it can't be opened on any OS other then MacOS. The file size it creates is kind of large file size for numbers format which is also an issue for using Apple Numbers. I have seen it crashing multiple times after the update of OS to 12.5

Apple Numbers is a built in solution for sheets and can be used very well to do basic stuff.

Apple's Numbers app comes with templates I regularly use for managing ministry budgets, personal finance, and reimbursement requests. Beyond the templates creating new forms is simple.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

A lack of a native windows application is sometimes a barrier when I wish to collaborate with those not using Mac and iOS devices, however, the iCloud.com version of Numbers is a great option for those looking to work beyond Apple's platforms.

I manage budgets and expenses for a half-dozen ministries. Numbers allows me to keep track of those budgets individually and collectively.

Apple numbers is really user-friendly and easy to use.  It lets you add formulas quickly and easily with presets.  I love how I can access my files across all my apple products also.

I can't find anything I do not like about it honestly.  So far I have not run into any issues or glitches with it and it runs very smoothly.  Files save automatically as well so in a power failure, nothing is lost..

It is easy and helpful in many ways from keeping track of credit cards to inventory to what you sell

The only part where Apple Numbers seems low is with Add-ins or the additional feature to incorporate in the application. More features and styles need to be added. But does the basics right.

I am very nervous when it comes to Microsoft Excel. The stresses me out and the concept of one bad cell can ruin a business person's day. Apple Pages is professional but laid back and easy to understand.

It is the motivation of having to start from scratch to learn a spreadsheet program. It's a basic program and is tighter in features. To an Excel expert, it may come off as remedial.

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

I love that Numbers is available on Mac computers. My experience is that the user needs to purchase Excel on PCs, which is costly, so having access to a version that comes with the computer is a big plus. Numbers is still an excellent application for uncomplicated tasks. I can create tables easily, and it looks as professional as it would on Excel. Furthermore, Numbers is a visually appealing application, and I don't feel overwhelmed by all the different options in the menu.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

The biggest downside to Numbers is that it is significantly cut and dry. I can run formulas, but from personal experience of using other competing products, I prefer Excel over Numbers. Also, Numbers has fewer options compared to Excel, so depending on the task, Excel might be the better application to use.

When I purchased my computer, I did not have another application like Excel to create tables. Numbers was ideal because I could generate the graphs for my presentations that still looked professional.

I am generally satisfied. Simple. It's like a beautifully designed version of Excel. The templates and menus are beautiful. User friendly for touch screens.2d, 3d and interactive graphics are fine. Collaboration is fast. We can work together with the team. The item bar is clear and simple. I can edit a Numbers document that I'm working on on my Mac exactly on your other Apple devices.

Some functions become invalid when using from a phone. Not as intuitive as Excel.

I quickly prepare stylish tables and add them to my presentations. We work with the team on the same file. So we don't have to merge files. The fact that the Numbers page is empty makes it easier for us to prepare tables in the size we want. We can prepare faster and more beautiful presentations.

Apple numbers operate very similarly to Microsoft Excel. I like how it is more intuitive and user-friendly. Within Apple Numbers, I use it a lot for formulas and showcasing data.

It cannot be operated from any device that is not a MAC. If you export out for a PC user, the formatting could be off. I wish it could be used on both types of devices.

If you are an Apple user, then numbers is an easy choice! Also it integrates perfectly with all apple products so you can always be looking at your sheet if you use it via iCloud while on the go.

Day to day number tracking of my budgets. It is easy to use and creates more of a visual impact. I am more productive in numbers because it is similar to other MAC products and the commands work the same.
