## Apple Numbers Reviews
  ### 1. The only thing Apple couldnt compete with Microsoft

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Apple numbers is a smoother version of Excel. It is really built well and has a lot of templates which. might be useful to people. It is a great software to do calculations, accoutning and analysis or any data and it is easy to use. The cross sync function with apple id is amazing! Customer support is really well for Apple products.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

This tool is not as great as its competitor which is MS Excel. The first problem is that it is not available on all devices. It works solely with Apple Devices. The UI seems very simple but this is meant to do complex tasks, which users cant do easily compared to other tools. This is not so easy to integrate in your day to day lives. I do not use it frequenctly.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Numbers solves the problem of complex spreadsheet management with its user-friendly and visually appealing interface. It provides easy-to-use templates and built-in features for data organization, calculations, and graphing. This helps you quickly create and manage spreadsheets without needing advanced skills, making it easier to track data and present information effectively.

  ### 2. For Casual Spreadsheet Users It Is All You Will Need - But Professionals Should Seek An Alternative

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Apple Numbers offers a unique blend of intuitive design and seamless integration with the Apple ecosystem. It has a clean user interface, and is a good solution for anyone looking to do simple spreadsheet tasks, such as a personal budget, or keeping track of basic daily stats (such as running distance etc). It presents data in a visually appealing way, and has good collaboration features (but only for people in the Apple ecosystem). The templates have been well designed, and makes it easy to create beautiful templates and to set up and get started with right away without a learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Coming from a background as a data analyst, I found that Apple Numbers lacks the features that I've grown accustomed to with Excel and Google Sheets. While Numbers is fantastic for basic tasks and presents data in a visually pleasing manner, for anything more advanced, or for business use, the functions and formulas are limited. If you have also used Excel or Google Sheets, the entire approach Numbers takes is quite different, making it challenging to adapt to a different workflow. I've tried to switch to Numbers many times, but always find myself returning to the other options.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apple Numbers is great for creating visually appealing spreadsheets quickly and with ease. One of the main problems it addresses is the often cumbersome and complex design elements found in other spreadsheet software. For instance, when I need to create a spreadsheet for a presentation or a document meant for an audience that prioritizes design and aesthetics, I use Numbers (but only when the spreadsheet isn't being shared with other people). Its built-in templates and design-first approach ensure that my documents look polished without having to spend too much time on design tweaks.

Also, the integration within the Apple ecosystem is huge. When working on a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, the seamless experience of creating, editing, and sharing spreadsheets across devices without compatibility issues is a significant benefit. It saves me from the hassle of file conversions or worrying about format inconsistencies.

However, for more data-intensive tasks, I still rely on other tools. But for quick, visually appealing, and easily shareable spreadsheets, Numbers offers a straightforward solution.

  ### 3. Excel still more durable and easier than numbers

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MAYSARH S. | Vendor Manager / Pre-sales Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Simplicity of use and user interface is much better than excel

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

File sharing experience and flexibility of sharing the file in different format

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building proposals and commercial quotations

  ### 4. Fine in a pinch but excel is much better

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

Numbers is great if you want todo basic editing or quickly view a file. Numbers excels in its simplicity

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Unfortunately I find it very limited in its latest version - making simple tasks removing duplicates, selective hilighting, manipulating large amounts of data. that should be simple in excel take an exorbitant amount of time or even impossible. Many of the features that are missing apparently were in older versions of numbers before they rebuilt it from the ground up.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

If you want to just view and look at data while performing minor edits then use numbers it will be great and you love it!

If you are using it in anger to get things done with manipulating large data sets you are better to stay away from numbers. It is fantastic how it is free and comes with every mac giving you a . basic suite of office tools.

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very few as I find that excel is much much better for completing tasks, that is not to say I did not try as I wanted to try and get away from Microsoft (the a driver for getting a mac in the first place).

  ### 5. Just Use Google sheets

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 26, 2019

**What do you like best about Apple Numbers?**

It's free. That's about it. I mean you can get away with it if you rarely use spreadsheets.

**What do you dislike about Apple Numbers?**

Operating numbers is clunky and very unintuitive. A lot of necessary tools are either hidden or don't exist.

Also almost every PC user has difficulty opening the files.

**Recommendations to others considering Apple Numbers:**

Use Google sheets or Excel

**What problems is Apple Numbers solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do a lot of data analysis, reporting, product feeds, customer exports etc. Which is barely scratching the surface of the capabilities of an Excel/Google sheets system.
