I also appreciate that it's always easy to get help when needed. The ability to log keys and track who has them along with viewing the history is extremely helpful. Additionally, switching to AppFolio was a breeze since it is very easy to use, and new staff can pick it up quickly. What do you dislike about AppFolio? Our state requires the tax form called the certificate of rent paid to be sent to tenants. Although AppFolio has made some improvements, we would find it easier if there was another option to include for tenants. For example, currently, there is an option to categorize a tenant as financially responsible or other occupant. However, this does not work well with the CRP program. This is super handy in case of emergencies or when I need to contact them after hours, using a text number provided through AppFolio. It's also very useful for communicating with residents who might be at work or school and can't answer the phone. I believe the text tool really enhances communication, and everything being in one base helps minimize the amount of tools needed. What do you dislike about AppFolio? I don't like that reports in AppFolio don't include any formulas when you go to export them. There are also some small glitches that I'd like to see less of. In certain modules, the program doesn't register the first letter you type, so you have to type it twice. We also have glitches when trying to log in and AppFolio tells us it can't log us in.
