What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

A big plus is Forms On Fire’s ability to quickly create customisable forms. Integrates nicely into existing workflows and removes quite a bit of manual work. The most unique part that I like is how it just hangs with our CRM and other software, so the data just flows right through. For real time data, this app is exactly what we need when we service our customers, and update information in real time. This also helps us manage and review the collected data quickly and boost our productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

Forms On Fire is one of those tools, and I think one area that could do with a tweak is the initial setup which while not difficult can also get complicated for more advanced workflows. Features may require a lot of configuration that will take longer than expected. In addition, network problems sometimes associate with syncing issues when connectivity is bad, which can delay both data access or update. The system could be more effective if it could address these connectivity issues more effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jacquie Mason of Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)

Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We’re thrilled to hear that Forms On Fire has helped reduce manual work and seamlessly integrate with your systems—it’s great to know the real-time data access is making a difference for your team in the field. We also appreciate your insight around setup complexity and syncing challenges in low-connectivity areas. We’re continuously working to improve the platform, and input like yours helps guide those efforts. Thanks again for being a valued user—we’re glad to be part of your productivity boost!

What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

Forms On Fire does have some drawbacks, one of which is the problem of switching between different sections in case there are many forms in the request. It can become overwhelming if you have many templates or forms in use, and the symbols may not be so easy to locate. This can cause a problem when one wants to locate a particular form, or entry during peak hours when the need high speed consummation is most wanted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A dependable choice for remote work and offline data gathering"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

I love the offline capability in Forms On Fire as it lets us capture data in dark corners where we don’t even have internet access. This is a huge boon to our field team, many of whom can work in isolated areas, because it takes away the need to do any of the capture tasks without interruption. We know nothing will be lost because once we are connected, data will start to automatically sync. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)?

The one drawback of Forms On Fire is that we can’t do a whole lot of customization to the data export which can make it difficult to format reports exactly the way we need them. As a result of this we’ve had to manually fix up exported files that don’t match our reporting standards. While it isn’t a deal breaker, it does make our reporting process slower and involves more steps to our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Jacquie Mason of Appenate (formerly Forms On Fire)

We're thrilled to hear that Forms On Fire has been instrumental in overcoming challenges with manual data collection and has made your workflow more efficient. The offline capability and automatic data sync are indeed valuable features for remote work. We appreciate your feedback about the limitation on data export customization and will work towards improving this aspect for a smoother reporting process.
