The WYSIWYG builder was intuitive, and on par with popular visual builders I've used in the past. The idea was very exciting for me and it's nice to see how much the product has evolved. As a new user I found it difficult to import data to try out working with real data, and I had a hard time understanding the full offering of the app builder, I had a hard time seeing how this would fit into my companies work flow. I also wasn't able to figure out if custom components were able to be made. Coming from a coded solution with MDbootstrap I found it to be a bit too rigid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. The app builder would ideally take the burden off our designers and frontend developers by bridging the gap in the handoff process. Users within a team, corporately-funded, no problem; but, what about the solo, freelance developer? Too many attractive open-source and more affordable options in that scenario. Layouts can be created and shared with the development team, but it is impractical to make updates and re-share with the development team once the design has been implemented. It's easy for me to design to code and export the prototype into a codebase which makes it easier for my team to get started with further iterations. I would ideally like to see more docs and more sample applications to get started. As a user, it was tough for me to start with an initial design. I felt like there were a lot of features that were good for a design app. Compared to others it was useful for what I needed it for. It was also very easy to sign in with my school account too.
