"Multiple Year User of Appollo"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

The system offers a lot of functionality to libraries who don't have a ton of resources. The functionality in combination of the rated price points work out for a lot of libraries. Having the software hosted online is a huge benefit to libraries who don't want or can't afford to have a local software server. The staff is also very responsive in assisting and providing resources to its customers. It's unusual to be able to approach the owner at a conference to ask a a question of. What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

The back end of the system requires a lot of practice to understand where things are located on the back end. For instance, after years, I still have to search for the report or settings that I need. It could use some evaluation in terms of organization and implementation, in other words. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overall good, some ups and downs as we learned how to work with each other"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

I like how responsive the tech support team is when contacted. It took some time for me to understand how to work with them and that Apollo was basically one large website database, but once I did I was able to understand how to explain issues and problems to tech support better and get the help I needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

I wish there was more control for each site individually. There are many times that I wish I could adjust a slight aspect of a resource more than I can, however I do appreciate that the company does seem to take suggestions into consideration with updates. I would really like them to improve the reserve express so that patrons can determine what type of material they want (not just adult fiction items) and/or can decide that they might only want materials in the juvenile section by an author that writes for many age levels (ex: James Patterson). "Apollo ILS/LSP is fantastic!"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Everything about it! The customer service is unbelievably friendly and they are very responsive. The product is continually being improved - both from their own development and from listening to customer requests. If we are trying to figure out how to do something that is new to us they are there to help us out, and no matter how silly our question might be they treat us respectfully. The software itself is made for small and medium sized public libraries and it quite simply does everything we need in a very efficient and professional manner. What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

I truly cannot think of a thing we dislike about this product or company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The best Library Automation System I've used."
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Updates are automatic, 90% of records can be pulled from other libraries, label printing is free and easy and most importantly the folk at Biblionix actually listen to suggestions from users. Sometimes it takes a while to implement but they really want to make it the best experience possible for their users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

The search functions could be better. Specifically, it searches punctuation which can get frustrating if you have accents and such. Other than that I really don't have any major complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great ILS for small library"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Biblionix staff is great. Very responsive if we have a question or problem. Great library catalog. A lot of good add on features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

My main complaint is that the reports can be a little clunky. They're not bad and I've learned to use them, but often I'll wish for a report that is difficult to create. Most reports I've wanted, however, have been available--just need to figure out how to generate them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apollo is our invaluable partner!"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Designed for smaller public libraries which means all the features are useful. Great interface with collection service. Reports are highly adaptable to get the information we need. Best of all, the customer service is amazing. Friendly, patient and knowledgeable staff go the extra mile to quickly resolve any questions or issues that may arise. Constant improvements are a real bonus - sometimes we didn't even know we needed a feature until Apollo introduced it. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Since Apollo is a web-based service, we have problems whenever we have connectivity problems. I have found that the system is usually back up and running quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apollo is the best!"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Apollo is constantly changing and updating according to our feedback. They are super responsive and have customer service that most can only dream about. What you imagine customer service "should be" is exactly what they deliver. Excellent communication. Never a day without a response. Frequent updates and easy instructions about the new "how tos". Also, it's cost effective for a 3,500 community library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

There are no dislikes with their service.

I have yet to find a downside of going with Apollo.

Best I've ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Volunteer and user friendly"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo ILS/LSP?

Although we are organizationally new to the system, it is relatively easy to learn the basics and train new people to system use. The advanced features are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo ILS/LSP?

We wish that there was at least a template for websites that have a tried and true track record to enhance the platform through and with the Apollo system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
