I have tried other CRMs (free and paid), and Keela has provided the most value due to their customer-focused approach. They are a company that listens to customer ideas and requests and has a portal for that purpose. I love that about them! I also love the clean user interface that is primarily intuitive, and it's easy to train and get other users to utilize the specific sections to manage our constituents. The other users that volunteer with our nonprofit also state how much better this program is compared to what we used in the past. I am satisfied with the pricing model and like that it is scalable to our growing needs. I have no problem paying for programs that facilitate easy management and give us the visibility of the data that we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Keela? I don't love the fact that there isn't a better way to manage a pledge payment schedule. There is support for setting up a pledge for our contacts; we call sponsors, and that is helpful. However, there isn't a way to see if anyone has missed a monthly pledge payment. That is something missing, and I don't want to set up memberships with a subscription as an alternative. So, one size may not fit all, but we can deal with the shortcomings since they are not impacting our workflow too drastically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Keela solving and how is that benefiting you? Keela helps us keep track of the donated funds coming in and where they should be applied. Since we are using the QuickBooks integration, it benefits us by not having to enter data twice, and the reflected campaigns are managed in both programs. The one downside is signing up for events you cannot sign up for two things at the same time - for instance for our golf outing a person who wants to golf and sponsor has to go through the registration process twice. Keela is cleanly designed and supported by one of the best customer support teams I have ever encountered. Our development team regularly refers to its data when determining how we can best target our time and resources on fundraising campaigns. There are rough edges to the Keela workflow that are not resolved even years after features have been introduced. Examples: When email notifications are sent to notify our staff of a donation, it takes a visit to the website followed by four to five clicks to find out how much. Being a small team with no dedicated fundraisers on staff, having a system that is easy for everyone to use and understand has significantly impacted our donor relations capacity. It's easy to use and intuitive to set up. I use the pledges feature to keep track of child sponsorships. It's easy to see who is up-to-date on their payments. We use forms on our website to take donations with PayPal. I can set up a new form in minutes. It's easy for me and our donors to see current totals and how much still needs to be raised. While it handles multiple currencies, I can't add currencies. Also, I can't use the great receipting features because all receipts are in USD.
