It should be free because we need free resources for learning, we don't have enough money to buy these courses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tool for some people, who know how to - Mix Review but Postive"
3.5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

APIsec provides comprehensive API security testing that goes beyond basic DAST tests to find complex vulnerabilities like logic flaws and authorization gaps. The platform offers continuous assessment capabilities that integrate seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines, making it ideal for DevSecOps implementations. The solution takes a proactive rather than reactive approach to API security, which provides greater peace of mind according to customer testimonials. Their automated vulnerability testing covers all OWASP API Security Top 10 risks, ensuring thorough protection. The detailed reporting is tailored for different stakeholders including executives, security teams, and developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

The platform appears to be primarily focused on testing rather than offering a complete API security solution that includes runtime protection. There's no clear indication of how the solution handles legacy APIs that might not be integrated into modern CI/CD pipelines. The marketing materials don't specify pricing structure or indicate whether there might be scaling challenges for organizations with hundreds of APIs. There's limited information about how much configuration or customization is required to get meaningful results. The emphasis on shift-left testing is valuable but may not address already-deployed APIs effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great tool for API security"
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

I love the fact I can access a report on the security hub about the test scan done. The test against the OWASP 10 is a great addition. I like the charts as well as that is helpful in scanning APIs. I look forward to using the application more frequently and check other integrations . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

my application users SHA256 and this was picked as a vulnerability with suggestion to use SHA-256 instead which I believe is basically the same thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ease of use, with accurate results and great recommendations for obtaining more secure APIs"
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

The Scanner tool offered by APIsec is extremely easy to use, covering different authentication protocols and integrable with various cloud services (such as Azure API Management, which I use a lot) and API specification standards (such as OpenAPI and Postman, which I am familiar with). All of this makes it much easier to conduct security tests on APIs, combined with the fact that the results will be produced based on the recommendations that are part of the OWASP API Security Top 10. With all these characteristics, I strongly recommend the use of this solution as a way to make the use of REST APIs in corporate environments safer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

Considering other market solutions and the shortcomings of these products, I found nothing in the APIsec solution that discredits this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The APISec Scanner is Intuitive, Friendly, Comprehensive, and Consumable by Various User Groups"
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

The APISec Scanner is Intuitive, User Friendly, Comprehensive, Visual Rich, and Consumable by Various User Groups. The scanner is easy to implement and simplifies the search for API vulnerabilities. Unlike many tools it also helps to find complex logic-related API vulnerabilities incorporated in the OWASP top-10 for APIs. In addition, the tool provides good visuals and statistics which can be consumed by various user levels. The online (cloud) version is mainly useful for exposing vulnerabilities in public APIs. However, @APISec, they have also developed a docker image for local installation, so that partner and internal APIs can be easily served as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

So far, there is nothing I can put as a "dislike" factor. I hope the tool will be updated based on the would-be updated version of the OWASP top-10 for APIs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"APISEC API Scanner: Quick Review"

What do you like best about apisec.ai?

I've been kicking the tires on APIsec.ai, and honestly, there's a lot to like. What really stood out for me was how thorough it is. I mean, it doesn't just skim the surface; it really digs into those API vulnerabilities, especially the OWASP API Top 10 stuff. That's a big plus. Also it's way more easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

I not into that professional level inorder to judge this powerful scanning tool. As for me it was really amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automated Interface Scanning"
5/5
What do you like best about apisec.ai?

Apisec is fully functional. I currently work in an environment where API scanning just doesn't exist.

Seems like comprehending and understanding APIs is a huge gap with many organizations. My suggestion is find a tool like APISecs API scanner and try it out. Pull the results and begin remediation immediately.

APIs threats and vulnerabilities are only going to grow as time passes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about apisec.ai?

I am a fan of simplicity to as of right now nothing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
